Chapter 3: The Kings Duel.

As Elvina turned around to look at the receptionist she then saw a second figure, it was a tall muscular man, as she got a better look at the man, she realised who it was, 

She then stood up walked up to him and asked " What brings the majesty to the adventurer guild, especially to this room? "

Elvina stood tall and proud, and not showing any sort of respect towards the King, as the King walked past Elvina to sit on the seat, Elvina then turned around and followed him, she then sat down across from him, the King then flicks his finger to dismiss the receptionist, as the receptionist leaves, the king relaxes and tells Elvina to do the same but for her only to reply with a disrespectful tone " oh I'm already relaxed, sir. ", while talking the King and Elvina then look at each other to see who is the strongest out of the two, and after four minutes of silence, the two of them the stand up and talk at the same time " do you want a duel?" 

The two of them look at each other, the King gives out a chuckle while Elvina gives out a little under the breath chuckle.

The King then looks at Elvina and tells her to follow him, she then lifts up an eyebrow but does not question him and follows the king.

The King then walks towards a door which was behind Elvina, They then leave the building, as Elvinas eyes began to adjust to the light again, she starts to notice that there were hundreds of adventurers training with swords and with magic, the King then walks up to a training platform which was occupied by two adventurers, one of them stops fighting and kneels down, the other looked at his friend, then looked at the back of him to see the King standing behind him, the adventurer then took four steps back and kneeled down, then at the same time, the two adventurers asked the king " what brings you here, my King?" 

The King then says with a calm tone " I am here to spar with a new adventurer, to test her skills, if you were so kind, please leave this platform so we can fight" and when the two adventurers looked at the king, they then saw the King smiling, they smile back and leave the platform, the King then turns around to look at Elvina and gives her the sign to come up and fight him, Elvina follows the Kings demands and walks onto the platform, stands on one end while the King stands on the other, the King then counts down from three, Elvina prepares herself and so does the King and when it hits zero, the two disappear from their spots and reappear in the middle, clashing swords, every person who was in the combat area stopped practicing to witness the duel, they were all Mesmerised with the intensity of that duel.

In the mids of the battle the King begins to laugh, Elvina looks confused and asks the King what he found so funny, he then replies loudly " you aren't using your full strength, are you?", Elvina stops fighting and so does the King, Elvina then looks around, and the looks back at the King, she shakes her head and silently replies " not even 10% of my power is being used in this battle, Sir."

The King laughs and tells Elvina " Do not worry, Miss Elf, you can use all you strength on me, I won't die."

Elvina then lifts one of her eyebrow to show uncertainty but the King insists that she uses all her strength, as he counts down from three again, when it hit zero all the other adventurers could see including the King was that the battle had already ended and that he was missing an arm, The King looked around to the see Elvina holding his arm while standing behind him, he turned around and just gave out a huge chuckle, The King surrendered himself. Elvina has won the duel, a few minutes later, Elvina and the King return to the room they were in before, The King asks Elvina if she could reattach his arm, she nods and says " If I wasn't able to, I wouldn't have cut it off in the first place."

The King gave out a small chuckle and just replied " Elvina, you sure are strong". Elvina reattached the Kings arm, stands up, walks towards the door and tells the King that she will see him, whenever he needs an adventurer to take on dangerous quests.

The King gives out a big sigh and Elvina Leaves the room and the guild.
