Chapter 206: A Day Out with the Kids

Carter stood in the clothing store with Josh and Emily, shopping for the day with them at the mall. Josh and Emily were currently looking at clothes and picking out some outfits. Carter helped them find their right sizes and took them to the dressing room. He laughed and smiled as each of his kids took turns modeling their outfits for him like they were on a fashion runway.

"Gorgeous." Carter smiled and grabbed each of his kids' hands to spin them.

They finished up trying on clothing and he took them to the register to pay for the items. Once they were done, he took them to get ice cream at the food court.

Josh got strawberry, while Emily got chocolate. Both of the kids got rainbow sprinkles and gummy bears. Carter got dark chocolate and paid for their desserts before leading the kids to a table. They sat down and he watched as Josh peered over at a boy across the way. His cheeks flushed a light pink and he looked away to shove a spoonful of ice cream into his mouth.
