THAT THING 2 YEARS AGO..

Jennifer was in deep thought regarding the Main unit in Italy. She was little disturbed by the fact that it was taken over by some company in this short span of time. While she was deeply thinking about the Rasmon Enterprise, a knock was heard following someone calling her, "Are you in there Jennifer?" and by the voice of the person she could tell that he was no one except that man Martin. Jennifer was a little irritated by him, but chose to open the door.

"What do you want?"

"My parents want you to take us around Paris. Are you free?"

Even though she wanted to deny it, but she had seen her mother happy after so many days due to Mrs.Miller's arrival. Her mother had very few friends and Mrs.Miller was one of them, so she could not bear to sadden her mother hence she decided to take them out.

"Ok, I will come in 10 minutes."

The Miller family along with Jennifer decided to roam around, shop and have lunch in the famous restaurant of Paris 'Le Cinq'.

Throughout their journey Mrs.Miller kept nagging Jennifer to spend time with Martin.

At seven in the evening, Jennifer came back home and straightway went to her room.

The moment she rested her back on the bed, her phone rang displaying 'Jass'.

"Hello Jason what's up?"

"Have you seen the news Jen?"

"Which one?"

"About Italy's main unit" Jason asked carefully as he could sense that she was not so in a good mood.

"Do you think Jason that I made a mistake this time?"

"You never make a mistake Jen. You know that Rasmon Enterprise has always been fast and clear in it's way. And I know that you will not try to take the main unit from them. I know that you feel a upset that you could not take what belonged to. But trust me Jen there is always a way around you know."

Jennifer chuckled bitterly, "You are right Jason I will not try to take back the unit from Rason Enterprise as they had never done anything wrong. They have never interfered in my matters nor they are a threat to me. You say that there is always a way around, I think you are right." She then took a deep breathe "Like how I managed to get away from that thing 2 years ago,you know that they wer..."

She was interrupted by Jason, "You promised me that you will not let the past disturb you Jen. You will surely have the chance to take back what belonged to you. I firmly believed in you in the past and always will believe you in the future."

"Thank you Jason for believing me back then, I will surely try to take my belongings back."

"That's like my girl. Don't think too much about that thing and sleep peacefully. By the way what is aunt Mary doing?"

"She must be talking to dad over the phone. I really hope that dad will come back home along with my brother."

"Is your brother's training not yet completed?"

"No. The training is for 5 long years and I have not seen by brother since the time he left for the training. Dad would always come back home for the past 4 years whenever possible, but this year he is very busy. Hopefully both of them will return home in the end of the year."

"Ohh, ask aunty to take care of her. I will visit you tomorrow. Sleep tight, bye."

"Bye.."

Jennifer closed her eyes, her heart felt a tight pang and her eyes became wet thinking about the things 2 years ago. She managed to calm down, ate her dinner and drifted back to sleep.
