Swatting Away An Annoying Fly (1)

"There isn't much information about her, boss. Just like any other student, she goes to her class in the morning, then goes back home in the afternoon. Most of the time she is at her home as she doesn't have many friends given she is an outcast. People don't like her because of her looks. But surprisingly she has a friend named Ava who is also Emmett Tessier's cousin. This seems a bit odd. Rest everything is normal.

"Normal you say, ha!! I told you to bring me the information about her and this is what you brought?! Surprising you say, huh? I already knew about this. I wanted to know something new about her. This half information isn't going to help me at all. Why the hell did she hire you? Go and call Ray. Also, go to the Blue unit and go through your punishment." Adam shouted at one of his men whom he had asked to look into Jennifer's aka Alissa's details.

He didn't get the information he wanted leaving him angry and frustrated. It was so much of a coincidence that the girl had the same eyes as that wretched woman who he had killed two years back. The colour of her eyes was very unique and not many people had those pretty pair of blue eyes. He wanted to make sure that the girl he met in Versailles was different from that woman back then.

He had asked Ray, his trusted comrade to find the information about her, but him being busy with another mission, his work was given to a new lackey of his girlfriend, who also worked with him.

But the new guy turned out to be completely useless as he couldn't even get proper information about her. He will have to warn Mia not to hire such useless men who gave him nothing but a headache.

He wanted to kill this man in this instance, but this would make his girlfriend upset so he just sent him to the punishment unit.

There were four punishment units, green, blue, red and black.

Green was for the lightest punishment where the person inside had to kneel and stay in that position for two days without food or water. This was the lightest punishment anyone could get for not doing their work properly.

Blue unit had a whips system where the person in crime would be whipped till they become all bloodied.

The red unit was a danger zone where one could lose any part of their body. Various torturing methods were used here. Cutting of a finger was the simplest punishment of the red hall.

The person must have committed a huge crime if he or she were to be sent to the black unit. The unit had the cruellest punishment one could get. No one apart from the ones who have visited the unit know what happens in the unit. The chances of coming out alive from that unit were less than one per cent. Only two people till now could come out of it alive, but their condition was worse than any living being. With several features, broken limbs and a few organs missing, the two couldn't live past two days even after getting the best treatment ever.

There was a rumour that started two years ago that there was one more person who managed to come out alive from the unit but then disappeared in thin air just after that. Well, but it remained a rumour as no one clarified it. But whenever someone would get the punishment in the black unit, people would always remember that incident.

The door of Adam's office cabin opened as a girl wearing a revealing red dress stepped inside. She had wavy blonde hair, a sharp nose, plump lips and hypnotising grey orbs. Her heels clicked on the floor as she sensually walked in; swaying her hips.

"Darling, what happened? Do you happen to be in bad mood? Did the person I hired fail the mission?" Mia walked closer to him as she kissed him on his cheeks leaving her red lipstick mark on his white cheeks.

"Hmm," Adam replied in a displeased voice.

"You should.."

She didn't let him continue as she gently pushed him on the couch behind him as she climber on top of him, making herself comfortable on his lap.

"I am sorry. I did wrong by hiring him. He was a person my friend recommended, his work is always precise but I don't know why he did this? Anyways you can punish him however you want." She then coquettishly added," But please don't be mad at me."

Gently pushing her away from him, he spoke, "Behave, babe, Ray is going to come now. I want to talk with him first. Let's talk later about that person you hired. Go and rest inside."

Mia pouted but got up from his lap. She knew he was angry and she was partially the reason for it. She didn't want to anger him more so she just went into the room in his office. She would think of some ways to dispel his anger till he speaks with Ray.

"Come in Ray," Adam spoke when he heard his door being knocked twice.

The door opened as a man in a grey suit appeared before Adam, "Sir, you called for me? Did that young fellow fail the mission? He seemed quite frightened when he passed your message to me."

With his legs crossed, Adam sat on his office chair; elegantly with his brows furrowed.

"He is a useless person. He needs third level training to be admitted to your team. Make sure to start his training after his punishment. I am only letting him go since he is the person under Mia. But this will be the last chance for him. If he is unable to keep up with the training then kill him."

"Yes sir, I will do as you say. What are your further orders? Should I personally look into that girl's information? Though it will take me a week to get everything about her." Ray said as he kept his head low. He felt incompetent, as the person he had ordered after discussing with the mistress couldn't complete the mission and he was tied down with another very important mission named IO, so he couldn't complete this mission his boss asked him to and had to give it to someone else.

Other people could do that mission but the people under him were helping him with Mission IO and the people under his boss were scattered around the world due to turmoil caused in the underworld. The only ones left were people under the mistress. Some of them were looking into illegal drug selling, some into human trafficking and so very few people were left with no work in their base.

Ray was genuinely concerned about his mistress as his boss was unhappy with the outcome of this mission. He just hoped that the boss would not punish the mistress for taking this matter lightly.

Thinking that the mission was a very easy and small one the mistress gave it to the new person she hired, not knowing that this was very important for his boss. He was actually surprised that the boss let the person in charge of the mission live with just the blue unit punishment.

Maybe his love for his girlfriend made the boss take this decision. So he shouldn't be worrying about her. Maybe his boss will forgive her.

But what Ray did not know was that Adam had his own plans, also this time he would not let Mia get away with the punishment just because she was his girlfriend, as this matter was related to his brother and no person would just get away with it, not even his girlfriend if the matter had something to do with his brother.

He cared for his brother a lot, that he would even kill his brother's beloved woman because she was slowly becoming his only weakness and was trying to take his brother away from him.

How could he let her do that?

After all, he loved his brother a lot, a lot.
