SHE WASN'T CARING ABOUT HIM, OKAY?

Keeping the phone back on the couch Emmett sighed. He had to change his plans for now.

He continued to look into other information which was send to him by Ron regarding the mysterious phone.

After he would complete his work, he would make sure to look about the phone which was displayed by the production team in the sub-branch of Waaifort D&S Corporation.

An hour and half passed in the blink of an eye. It was 6am in the morning. The sun had yet to rise and the sky was still dark outside.

Emmett closed his laptop and massaged his throbbing temples.

Getting up, he first kept his laptop in the room he was suppose to stay and then went back into the room where Jennifer was sleeping.

He had no plans to sleep now, but he would just stay in the bed till the girl gets up, so he could surprise her.

Thinking about this, he slowly got into the duvet and rested his head on the wall behind the bed.

He just stayed like that for an hour. He neither slept and nor opened his eyes.

At around seven he felt a little movement beside him. He opened his eyes to see the sleeping beauty beside him yawn as she woke up from her beauty sleep.

She first checked her clothes and made sure that nothing had happened to her jacket where she had kept numerous weapons.

The jacket was actually made in such a way that it nothing would happen even if you kept weapons in it and slept wearing it.

The material was a special one and this jacket was specifically made by Zavier for her.

Emmett observed her every movement and when she looked at him, she appeared a little shocked but the shock gradually turned into a frown and the next question he heard her ask was, "Did you not sleep well at night? Why do you have dark spots under your eyes?"

This came out of blue and he himself was taken aback by her question. Wasn't she supposed to scream and kick him out of the bed?

Why was she acting like that now?

Back in the present,

"Why aren't you eating your food? It will turn cold." Seeing him not eat his breakfast since the last ten minutes, Jennifer couldn't help but remind him to eat his food.

She wasn't caring about him, okay?

It was just that she felt a little bad to waste food so she reminded him.

Consoling herself that she was doing this solely because she hated wasting food she reminded him, seeing that he hadn't even taken a bite from it and was busy thinking about something.

Emmett who had been thinking about what happened last night and how was he suppose to carry on his plan starting from today totally forgot that he was hungry.

His mother had always nagged him about the same thing. He would always forget about everything when he started thinking about work. It had happened many a times in the past. He would often not eat his lunch even if it was kept on the table in front of him if he was busy in some work.

The chef would have to re-heat the lunch and give it to him once he finishes his work. And same thing was happening now. He didn't know when but from thinking about her water drinking habits he had come to think about the Guerilla gang?

And just when he was thinking on how to find the Guerilla gang's boss, he heard a soft voice reminding him to eat his food.

Emmett came out of his thoughts when he found the girl in front of him looking at him with a blank face which had a big question mark on it.

"Just thinking about some work." Saying that he took the spoon on the plate and started eating Oeufs cocotte.
