PHONE FOR CHILDREN?

"Hey Alissa, why are you both here?"

Ava nudged Jennifer a little and then whispered into her ear, "Did you enjoy your time with him, huh?" She then chuckled naughtily.

Jennifer: "....."

Jennifer did not know whether to cry or laugh at her words.

"We are for inspection. Individuals points can be deducted, if they detach themselves from their work and roam around doing nothing."

Ava immediately flew back to her space and started working with full concentration.

Jennifer smiled at the scene.

The whole scene was watched by Emmett, who acted as though he didn't care about what they were speaking.

But with his strong sense of hearing, he heard every single word of their conversation and made a mental note that he had to work hard, as for now Jennifer was ignoring the topic which included him.

The further went in and studied the situation in R&D department.

The recent project that the company took was of a new Android phone.

Jennifer and Emmett went towards the manager of the department.

He was a man in his forties. He had a protruding belly, with a big mole on his left cheek.

"Hello, I am William Reuben. I am the manager here. Please feel free to ask anything."

Though the man looked scary, his nature was very polite.

Jennifer greeted him and Emmett as usual remained different and aloof.

William showed them through various types of phones that were going to be produced and sent to the market. At first he was hesitant, as they were practically strangers, but his boss Melvin had ordered him to treat them with outmost respect, hence he attended to them.

"We are going to produce a total of three phones. They differ from one another. Two of them are for adults and one for children."

For children?

Jennifer wondered, why were they producing phone for children?

"Why is the company producing phone for children?" Jennifer questioned him.

"You know miss that now a days, cyber crime is increasing in lots. And the target to these things are mostly the poor children. They may not know when they are trapped into the shady things. Also we can't stop them from using phones. We have developed a new phone, especiallylly for them. It is up to them, whether they want to use it or not. But our engineers and technicians have used a lot of effort to secure the phones with the top security. Also the child trafficking is taking place in a large amount. There are many cases where children receive a call from some strange number and are thereafter kidnapped. The phone has the security measures and can detect invalid numbers. Here, I will show you our phones...."

He took them towards a glass case which had three phones in it.

The first two phones were a little advanced version of the ones whom they had produced two years back in 'Waaifort D&S Corporation' main branch.

He explained about the phones functions in detail and then took them to the third case.

"This is our special product. Have a look, it..."

The man continued speaking, but Jennifer was so shocked that she couldn't hear anything and so was Emmett.

He continued to look at the phone with furrowed brows. This model was a little familiar to him.

Jennifer remained on her spot with her fist tightly clenched. She had controlled her emotions with much efforts.

She just continued to stare at the phone. She observed it keenly. Seconds passed by and turned to minutes, but she continued to observe it.

The man in front of her had stopped speaking a long time ago. He was waiting for their reviews, but none spoke.

"Miss...Mister.." When the man called out Jennifer, that was when she snapped back from her daze.

She looked around to find Emmett staring at her intently.

Did he notice that there was something amissed with her.

Jennifer calmed her emotions and spoke, "I was thinking about something. Don't mind me. Anyways I liked the model very much and so I couldn't help but stare at it. The security measures are really brilliant."

How could she not like it. This was probably a best model.

She was way too familiar with it.

Because she too had one like this with her.
