PERFORMING DUTIES OF A GIRLFRIEND

She took a look at the contract and read the points stated in it.

Firstly it was written that whoever would terminate the contract would have to pay the termination fees of 10 million euros.

Secondly it was that the girl selected would have to perform the duties of a girlfriend.

And thirdly it was stated that the both would to keep contact for around ten hours a day.

Jennifer rolled her eyes at the second point. She would have to perform the duties of a girlfriend?

No way would she agree to it. Even though she was sure that he was a gay, but that didn't mean that she would break her principals only to fulfill his wishes.

And the corner of her eyes twitched at the third point. Spending ten hours a day, wasn't it like he was taking her as his personal maid.

Jennifer looked suspiciously at him.

Was he trying to take advantage from her?

'Did he come to know about her another identify by chance?'

Jennifer dangerously narrowed her eyes at that thought.

But then again, Ava had said that he was the boss of a small cooperation, so he wouldn't be able to do that.

Even if he was from the prestigious Tessier family, he wouldn't be able to do that.

Given the ability of Alissa, no one had ever been able to surpass her.

There was just this one, someone from the Lucifer's team, that was able to get the special phone.

And she didn't think that a cowardly man in front of her would be the great Lucifer. He was even afraid of fire and called himself a man.

But then again, he wasn't a man to begin with for Jennifer.

She was this sure because she had heard what type of bloodthirsty devil Lucas was. He murdered anyone who dared to come in his way.

Looking at the man in front of her, who did have the noble air around him but he didn't look that dangerous. He looked more like a normal businessman.

If Travis would have come to know about her thoughts, he sure would have bowed his head in front of her for calling the Satan a normal businessman.

Though Jennifer was amazed by the aura he carried with him, she had fit in her mind that he was a gay.

And gay were always more feminine as far as she knew, hence she always tried to link him to that type of man. So she couldn't see how he truly was and how many person were afraid of him.

After shutting down all her thoughts, she concentrated back on the contract.

There were more three to four small points, which were negligible for her. Going through the contract once again, she closed the file and kept it back on the table between them.

"I want to change the second point." She directly spoke to the point.

Emmett raised his brows and asked back, "Why so?"

"Don't you think it is wrong for you to state that point. Why would I need to perform duties of a girlfriend, if I am only going to be a fake one?"

"Why? Are you not willing to perform them?"

Jennifer was speechless. Why was this man this shameless?

"You! What I am saying is that I am not gonna do 'that' things with you." She put stress on the word that, so he would understand what she was saying.

But the man played innocent, "What do you mean by that things. As a girlfriend, you will have to attend some events with me and just help me in some day to day activities. That is all I want to ask from you."

Acting as if he understood something, Emmett deliberately asked in a low and teasing voice, "What did you think when I said you will have to perform duties of a girlfriend? You surely think very much, don't you. Or is it that your appetite is very big miss Alissa?"
