MANIZER
The corner of Emmett's eyes twitched as he stared at the girl who had indirectly concluded that he was a gay.
And he was even more dumbfounded with her last line which said that his one of the boyfriend might get kidnapped.
'This woman,' he mused. She had first called him a gay and now her words implied that he had numerous boyfriends outside. But he certainly wasn't a womanizer. No he should just say he wasn't a manizer.
Emmett wanted nothing more but to show the woman in front of him, if he truly was a gay or not. Looking at her, who acted confident because of the threat she had just given him, he wanted to play with her and tease her for saying such a thing.
Jennifer looked at the man who had his eyes narrowed.
'Did I hurt his ego by directly speaking of his sexual orientation?'
Many men didn't like when talked about their sexual orientation. They prefer to hide it than declaring it in open, to have the public curse them or for their drop in the company stocks.
Jennifer thought that Emmett may have felt the same. She now felt a little bad. She shouldn't have spoken it out. Alas, she had directly threatened him with his boyfriends.
When she was thinking how to talk, now that she had threatened him, she heard him speak, "Why would you go to such a extent of kidnapping one of my boyfriend."
Hearing him, made Jennifer feel little guilty. She wasn't one to do some shady business and what's more is that she wouldn't do it to a man who was pitiful.
But the words he had just said made her confirm that he was indeed a gay. Sighing she replied, "I am not interested in your boyfriend mister. I am just saying what if. I just need your help. We will just make a deal. If you help me then I will promise to keep your boyfriends safe."
Emmett didn't know how this girl in front of him thought that he had numerous boyfriends, when he didn't have a single one. He was for God's sake straight and healthy man.
He wondered from whom she had learnt of him having many boyfriends.
If Emmett knew that the girl who had literally pledged of helping him with his relationship with Jennifer was the one who had given Jennifer's wrong ideas and made her imagination turn wild. He would have made sure to have her locked in a room, so that she would not spew nonsense.
Ever since Ava had told Jennifer about Emmett's parents sending men in his room, she had been thinking of him as a gay and a manizer.
When she had first imagined him being intimate with so many men on his bed in the pub, she had taken him to be a gay.
Even when they had kissed twice, she didn't believe that he was a normal man. Just because the image of her imagination was so vivid in her mind that she didn't believe him to be straight.
If Emmett knew that his dear cousin sister was the one because of whom, he couldn't advance on the little girl. He would have made sure that Ava would have just not been locked in the room but also beaten few times.
