JUMPING THROUGH THE DOOR

Now there was no other way left. They would have to wait for the helicopters to arrive.

Jennifer looked up and saw that the fire was already near the net. The net was made of magnesium.

Magnesium metal is highly inflammable. It catches fire within seconds.

Jennifer really wanted to drag the person who had suggested using magnesium for net, all the way to the school and give him primary knowledge about metals.

She really wondered, if the man had even completed his school? Who doesn't know that magnesium catches fire easily?

All the efforts made by the people who were struck in the terrace fire were gone down the drain.

The fire was increasing speedily. Nevertheless Jennifer was calm.

Emmett was surprised seeing her wearing a calm expression, as if she wasn't the one who had earlier suggested a way to get those people out.

She now looked like a person, who had nothing to do with the people in the fire.

As such she was his future girlfriend. She had to be great.

When he was busy looking at her, the girl in front of him suddenly moved.

'Swishh.'

Jennifer's wrist was caught as she was going to jump through the door.

"What are you doing?" A low husky voice came from behind her.

The man continued to hold her. Jennifer pursed her lips, "We don't have other option. The fire is increasing and we cannot stand here idly. The helicopters are not here yet and if the net catches fire, the consequences would be unimaginable."

The man remained quiet for some time.

"It is risky."

"We don't have other option. If you have then go on, but now you shouldn't stop me." Just as she finished speaking, she retracted herself from his grip and jumped through the door.

Emmett remain rooted on the spot with his hand suspended in mid-air. He hadn't expected the girl to still jump in through the door.

Jennifer had her leather jacket on. Hence only her pants caught fire. The sprinklers had greatly helped in reducing the fire, hence she could easily jump through it.

Jennifer rolled on the ground to put out the fire. Dusting herself, she merely glanced at the man who was standing behind the door.

"Ask your lousy people to hurry." With that the woman went towards the group of people at the corner.

Emmett: "....."

His subordinates: "....." Wasn't that girl too gusty and awesome. She dared to order their sir.

If she by chance would become their madam in the future, they would be ready to lick her boots now.

Emmett's lips slightly hooked upwards. His future girlfriend was very dashing indeed.

His subordinate who saw him smile, blinked his eyes in disbelief. But the moment he looked back at him again, Emmett had already returned back to his cold demeanor.

Was he hallucinating?? The poor subordinate rubbed his eyes, till they swell from the friction.

Aiyoo! He nearly had an heart attack.

He had never once seen his boss smile, in his whole seven years of working for him. His boss had never even smiled at his own mother.

But that was quite justifiable, as his mother was quite a character.

Actually Emmett's subordinates already had the fire extinguisher with them. Just when he was going to order them to extinguish the fire, his little girl jumped through the fire. She surely was a feisty woman. Always jumping in her black clothes.

After Emmett had seen Jennifer in her black jacket with her mouth covered today, he was sure that she was the girl who had saved Ava by jumping on the horse. Her eyes were same like the girl who had bravely jumped on the horse and saved Ava.

This was the second time he had seen her dress like this and it was also the second time he had seen her in her action mode.

She always surprised him with her new skills. She had done the same back then, when they first met.

After reaching the group, Jennifer changed her voice and spoke, "Can you all jump through the door?"

Everyone: "????"

Why was a girl coming and asking them to jump in the fire.

When they first saw her jump in through the fire, they were very shocked and afraid.

What if she got burned? But their concern dissipated when they that she was fine. At that moment they felt like they had seen a fairy, coming to help them at their death hour.

But who knew that she became a demon suddenly.

She asked them to jumped through the fire!!

Hell no!!

They didn't want to die soon.
