'WHEN DID HE BECOME SO NICE?'

"Here." The man pointed at the the first case on the file.

"So you mean that we should recruit new employees??" Jennifer asked somewhat puzzled. There was already scarcity of eligible people for business in Versailles. How were they going to recruit more and from where?

Emmett shook his head in a 'NO' gesture. But he didn't say anything and let Jennifer think.

After thinking for a while, Jennifer suddenly got an idea.

"Why don't we just ask our colleagues to work more. They have already been given tasks for their respective courses, but we usually take two courses which we can perform best in. So let's ask them to help in the other too. They can work in their respective departments and then for some time, they can help in the other ones. What do you think? Wouldn't it solve our first problem?" Jennifer told him everything excitedly.

"That would do." Even though Emmett didn't smile nor showed any reaction on his face and kept his expressions neutral, his eyes held some praises for Jennifer.

"Let's go down then." Jennifer suggested, but soon a grumbling sound came.

Jennifer was embarrassed. She covered her stomach with her hands and gave Emmett a pitiful glance. She laughed awkwardly.

"Eat and then come out. I will be waiting for you in the lobby outside." Emmett knew that Ava had given Jennifer the lunch, as he was the one who had asked for it from the hotel and Ava had got the credit.

'When did he become so nice?' Jennifer was surprised.

But all her thoughts vanished when the man opened his mouth, "Shouldn't have been hiding during the lunch."

Jennifer gritted her teeth in anger.

It was because of him that she was unwilling to eat her lunch in the hotel.

Jennifer finished her lunch given by Ava in ten minutes and came out to look for Emmett. He was leisurely sitting on a sofa in the lobby. When the man saw her, he got up and went towards the elevator.

Jennifer followed him in.

They both then went down for inspection. They first went to look at Research and Development (R&D) department. Ava was the one of the students assigned to help at this department.

The employees here were pretty humble and greeted Emmett and Jennifer whenever they passed by.

Jennifer didn't miss those glances given by several lady workers towards Emmett. Due to his cold aura, they didn't dare to meet his eyes, but stole few glances at him and smiled shyly. Their eyes would sparkle whenever they saw him passing by them. But when they saw her walking alongside him, they glared at her hatefully.

Jennifer didn't know why, but the women looked like an eyesore to her. Maybe she thought that she hated their bashfulness and at how they stole secretive glances at Emmett.

She even looked worse than those females in her makeup, then why did they give her those stares?

She was deep in thought. After a while she understood, they must be jealous that she was able to walk beside him.

Women were really scary when they are jealous. Jennifer had experienced these things in the past.

Hence she ignored them and continued walking without sparing them a glance.

The men who worked there also stole some glances towards Emmett and tried to copy his aura, but looked very terrible. As their gaze shifted towards Jennifer, they wanted nothing but vomit their guts out.

Was this a fashion show?

Or were some agency collaborating with them?

What a contrast!!

It was like the beauty and the beast. But here the man was the beauty and the girl was the beast.

In some cases, men and women brain works out differently. Here men thought it to be a advertisement collaboration, while female were trying to impress Emmett through their looks.

It was a total confusion!!

Jennifer looked sideways at the man, wondering what could make him catch this much of an attention. Even though he looked very handsome, she harrumphed coldly in her mind,

'What is so great about this man, hmph!!'

As they entered the R&D department, they were greeted with Ava's cheerful face.

She came running towards Jennifer, as soon as she saw her.
