'SECOND MISSION FAILED!!!'

Next morning,

Jennifer was present for her lecture as usual. After she had told Alissa about Felix's secret, she had gone back home, leaving the man in Alissa's care.

After her classes, she would go back again to the crowded alley and confront that man.

Today was the day when everyone was going to know about their respective team and the topic for the business trip.

Professor Smith first continued with his lecture and then started announcing the team members and their respective topics.

"Emmett and Alissa would be in one team. You two will be responsible for analysing data for all the students, and will have to travel together and inspect your fellow student tasks."

Ava deliberately spoke, "Why the two of them in a group Professor? We all are given different topics, but they have been given the duty to inspect us. This is unfair."

"Are you able to score like them? Every year a student is responsible for inspection. This year due to their brilliant performance in the practice test, we have decided to keep the both of them for the inspection task."

After hearing Professor Smith's explanation, Ava knowingly shut her mouth. She then gave a sly smile in the direction of her Brother and Jennifer.

It was like a bomb had been dropped on Jennifer. She was stunned speechless when she heard that she will have to team up with Emmett.

'Where is my luck?' sob sob.

Her luck surely had gone grazing in the cattle field.

She was able to see three clear words Infront of her, 'Second Mission Failed!!!'

This was the worst thing for her. She could not ignore Emmett from now, even if she wanted to.

This was the first failure for her.

'Where is my dignity? How come I lost to a Gay?'

It felt as though her world had collapsed.

From the day she had kissed Emmett, weird incidents started taking place with her. She could see people kissing on the streets.

Actually it was pretty common thing, but she had never noticed it before. After her first kiss was stolen, she started noticing the people kissing on streets. She even sized up various men who were kissing woman on the road, scanning them to check if they were gay or not.

She kept dreaming of Emmett instead of her past. Even though it was a good recovery. But she shouldn't have dreamt of him. At least not of a gay.

Someone tucked her sleeves, when she was in a deep thought.

Startled she turned her head to see a grinning Ava with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"So, how do you feel Alissa after pairing up with my brother. Don't you think this is more than a coincidence. You both are fated to he together."

'Fated together my as*.'

Jennifer really wanted to murder someone now, in that instance. She swept her gaze at the devil who was calmly seating in his place without any expression on his face.

'It must be this devil's doing.' Jennifer glared hatefully at him.

'He will make me go mad one day.'

Jennifer's speculations were true. Emmett was very curious about her, as he was not able to find much about her past. When he was called in the Principal's office, due to him achieving highest marks in the practice test and thus was given the duty for inspection, his first thought was to reject it. He was not at all interested in such events. He wanted to remain aloof from the outsiders. But then after giving it a second thought he agreed.

He just had one request, "I am not going to participate in this project. Uncle you know that I am here only for your daughter. But I also don't want anyone to feel that I am someone with a strong background and hence I will participate in it. But I think you should let the person with second highest marks accompany me. The major inspection will be done by the second one. I will merely do anything there."

The Principal readily agreed. After all Emmett was his nephew.

Emmett had once promised his uncle that he will take care of Ava, as he had helped Emmett once in the past and hence this time on his uncle's saying, his mother had forced him to join the college with Ava.

The student selected for inspection was usually called in the Principal's office and thus time it was nothing different.

Emmett had scored the highest marks, whereas Jennifer was just two marks away from him. Thus the whole staff had agreed to his suggestion after a small discussion.

Like this Emmett had got sometime to inspect Jennifer closely. He had a hunch that she was the same girl from two years ago.
