"CRIMINALS DESERVE PUNISHMENTS"

Emmett faintly nodded his head.

Sensing that the man was not in a good mood, Mr.Ager tried to speak something which would save him from the trouble, "If you want me to let that woman go, then..." 'you will have to sign up on a paper.' This was what he wanted to say, but changed his mind at the last moment, "...I can let her go."

The coldness in Emmett's eyes intensified, making a chill run down the captain's spine.

"You are a policeman right?" Emmett asked him in a low voice.

The captain wanted to cry at that moment. He was afraid that the man in front of him would take away his position.

But despite the fear he nodded weakly, "Yes."

"Then you should perform your duty well. Do you get some profit from the rich people so that you don't punish the criminals, huh?"

The man vigorously shook his head and denied immediately, "No, no. I am a true man and my duty comes first before anything, I don't take any profits from any rich people sir."

But he wanted to say that, 'I am afraid of you sir. You can make me disappear from the whole earth with a twist of your finger. I dare not go against you.'

"Then why do you want to let go of a criminal?" Emmett asked him, his voice dangerous sending the captain in flurry.

"No, I..sir I don't mean that. I just wanted to say that if you want to help her set free then you will need to finish some legal formalities." He immediately twisted his previous words.

Emmett suddenly stood up, making the man jump on his legs.

"Criminals deserve punishments." With that he made his way out of the room with Travis trailing behind him.

The captain dazedly looked at Emmett's back and only came out of his reverie when he felt one of his fellow officer pat him on the shoulder.

The man who had just patted him on the shoulder was standing in a corner of the room, from where he had heard their conversation.

"They are gone sir. What should we do now?" The man asked his boss.

Mr.Ager repeated the words Emmett had just said, "Criminals deserve punishments."

After continuous repeating it for two minutes, he excitedly held his fellow officers hand, "We are saved boy, we are saved. You don't know how nervous I was when Master Tessier was sitting in front of me. I thought that he wanted to save that woman. And I was very scared because of that. On one side was my duty and the other side was Master Tessier himself. I felt like this was the most hard decision in my life. But who knew that Master Tessier was not like the other rich people, he is a law abiding citizen. I am truly happy boy. Let's go and celebrate by sending the criminals to the jail."

After her call with Alissa, Jennifer closed her eyes to rest.

She couldn't believe that within one day this all happened. Till some minutes ago, she was single and now suddenly she was someone's girlfriend.

It felt surreal. Getting bored she decided to read some newspapers. Going to the stand near the left side of the couch, she picked up a newspaper and came to sit back on her place.

When Emmett came back in the room, a beautiful scene greeted him.

Jennifer had her head one of the arm of the couch, while her legs were half dangling down the couch.

He turned towards Travis who had followed him in and he spoke in a low voice, "You go back to the Paris. I will come by myself. Leave back the car and go back with a taxi."

Travis had seen Jennifer when he entered the room. Thus he knowingly turned and exited the room.

Poor Travis had to travel by the taxi for the night.

Now only Emmett and Jennifer were left in the room.

As we couldn't reach our goal for this week, I would just upload 3 chapters instead of 5.

You see I am not that stingy. And I am happy that we at least reached near our goal. Thank you all for that.

But I truly hope that we would be able to complete the goal in next week, for the mass release.
