Two Months

"Haah..." Kelly let out a weary sigh, his fingers skimming across the pages of the book he held. It had been a full two months since Kelly and his classmates found themselves transported to this unfamiliar world. Despite the passing time, some of them still struggled to fully grasp the reality of their situation. Yet, humans are known for their remarkable adaptability, an innate ability to acclimate to the changes in their environment.

Gradually, they were all beginning to accept their new reality. Over the past two months, they had dedicated themselves to rigorous training, pushing their limits and growing stronger with each passing day. Among them, Agawa stood out as the one who made the most astonishing progress. His growth rate was nothing short of astronomical, surpassing all of them. Recently, he had even started challenging apprentice knights on his own, matching them blow for blow. It was no small feat, considering that even as apprentices, they were at least level 50 with years of experience. Not only that, Agawa possessed an insatiable thirst for knowledge, absorbing every bit of information like a sponge. Captain William had openly acknowledged that he had nothing left to teach him. Now, all Agawa needed was practical experience to further sharpen his instincts on the battlefield, and he would be fully prepared.

In a span of two months his level has raised to 25 which was nothing but a feat on its own. And considering that his stats which are so close to a Knight are just one fourth of his whole strength makes him even more amazing.

'It took more than 10 years! for knights to reach the pinnacle of human strength! And that also considering they are geniuses in their own aspects and with their nation's support but for Agawa to reach that height in merely two months!! Was frightening! Just how much stronger will he get.'

Just by imagining that, it sent chills down Kelly's spine.

On the contrary kelly didn't make much progress even after all that training, he has gone through, his stats and level hardly increased. he was immersed in his musings as he muttered.

"Haaa..." Kelly let out another sigh, his frustration evident. He had naively believed that the only disparity between him and his classmates lay in their stats and chosen professions. However, reality had dealt him a cruel blow much sooner than he anticipated. It became painfully clear that Kelly was the weakest among his peers, a bitter pill to swallow. While he acknowledged Agawa's exceptional abilities, it wasn't just him who was rapidly progressing. All of his classmates were undergoing tremendous growth, surpassing him at an alarming pace. If things continued as they were, they would undoubtedly become the most formidable force in the entire nation.

Kelly closed the book he was reading which titled 'The Arduousness of Lightning Magic'. Which honestly, he didn't understand a word of it. Ever since coming to this world they haven't faced any difficulties in communicating with native people or reading the text, well his guess was that's all thanks to their skill 'LANGUAGE COMPREHENSION'. But for whatever reason they can't write the language. Which isn't much of a drawback as most of the populace don't even know how to read. Writing in this world Is beneficial to those with administrative positions mainly Nobels. Since they are heroes and will be fighting on the front lines it wasn't much of a setback.

'But even so it sucks to not be able to write. I kind of feel uneducated!'

Well, maybe that's the modern person inside of him speaking. Anyways coming back to the topic. Even though kelly is the weakest when it comes to strength wise, however he had no reason to give up because the level of normal people can only be increase so much through training Agawa's level stopped increasing after level 10 hell mine stopped after level 2 the only reason we progressed as much was because of the resources provided by church and by the disparity of levels they were clearly discriminating but it isn't anything to feel bad about after all these resources are scarce as such it's only right they give it to the one with most potential I am even surprised they even spared some for me.

Anyway, after knowing he can't increase his level. He wasn't disheartened as kelly had two of the rarest elements when it comes to magic. Honestly when he first learned that he had lightning magic he was overexcited. Well, it's one of the coolest things you can hope for in isekai anyway, and when kelly came to know it's the hardest to control it didn't discourage him at all as magic in this world depends wholly on one's imagination and people in this world don't even know how lightning is form so, obviously they were going to have difficulty in controlling something when they don't even know how that phenomenon occurs. But that's no problem for him as he was from the world where science rocks.

He knew everything there is to possibly know about lightning even how fast it travels. So, he thought it's going to be a breeze for him to learn lightning magic.

'I wanna punch my past self for making that smug expression!'

Obviously, it's not going to be a breeze. It's magic it doesn't work on facts even its existence is a mystery on its own. Anyway, kelly wasn't completely wrong. Imagination is the most important factor however, magic in this world is not some fantasy he read about back in his world. Here magic literally gives you the power to control natural phenomenon. Earthquakes, Lightning storms even Tsunamis are in your back and call. Nevertheless, you can't mess around with Mother Nature with just imagination. Back in their world taking Nature for granted had adverse effects on their whole civilization, as a result of that one of the major things they are battling today is climate change.
