Chapter 2

I have been at home and was always in my bedroom for a week. The maidservant always bring my food in my bedroom .

My so called parents didn't even notice anything unusual regarding me staying in my room the whole week.

My phone was bombarded with many messages and was ringing non-stop that i decided to turn it off.

- - -Knock! Knock! - - -

I got up and decided to open my door. The family butler in his perfectly tailored old black suit is in front of me with sympathetic face .

Young miss the madam have called for you downstairs, you better change and go down as soon as possible. The young masters are home and everyone is waiting for you.

After I changed into a comfortable outfit I went downstairs and I can her my mother's voice talking rather carefree and laughing such rare to even believe what i'm hearing.

My mother who is always stern and was always silent is talking rather happily with someone .

I hurriedly went towards the direction of the people talking in the living room .

There I saw my so called family and such rare event that my two brothers are home and there is a girl my age such unfamiliar face.

She was smiling sweetly time after time beside mother while talking to my family. My indiffernt two brothers are talking nicely and attentively towards her.

I made my presence known by greeting them. My suspicion and curiousity grew even bigger.

Mom: Xu Ran! Come here , take a sit. We have some important things to discuss.

I took a sit and waited to confirm everything that is on my mind.

Mom: This is Jiyao and she is my long lost daughter and she will be staying here from now on. Treat her nicely .

I was right!

Jiyao: Hello sister, I will be in your care from now on. Nice to finally meet you. (Her smile is kinda blinding me. She looks angelic.)

With everything I got i mustered to give a smile .
