Chapter 3
After meeting with Xu Jiyao I headed back upstairs to my room.
I felt so much uneasiness back there, I felt so left out. Though I was happy that they finally found their real daughter.
Through the years I felt grateful towards the Xu family for everything that i have and I couldn't ask for more.
And having to know where I stand in this family makes everything clearer now.
I was just a replacement that was never loved.
I dropped my exhausted body in my bed . I was just staring blankly in the ceiling when a knock came from my door.
The door opened and someone unexpected went inside my room. I can still see the familiar indifferent in his eyes and the disgust that he seems to masked in so many years .
I wasn't able to tell the way he looked at me before but now it became clear to me.
I became numb from all those years of trying and I have given up pleasing everybody.
What brought you here , brother? I asked smirking.
Xu Junlin : Don't try doing something bad to Jiyao. I won't forgive you if something happens.
You think so low of me, its like I am already a criminal in your eyes hmmm. Don't worry brother I know my place , you never forget to remind me after all . Thank you for that.
Xu Junlin : It's good that you know. I hope you won't forget.
After saying his words he went out after closing my door.
A defeaning silence enveloped my being. I become so numb in everything . I felt empty and tired so so tired.
I was so deep in thoughts on what I should do next .
Maybe it is good to look for something to make me busy.It is best that I return to my research lab to keep me busy.
I can't continue locking myself all day in my room so decided to take a shower and get dress .
Today ,I decided to go have a drink in a high-end pub.
I went straight in the bar counter. Give me your best drink here . The bartender immediately did what i told .
I gulped down each shot that I lost count on how many shot I finished. I have a high tolerance in alcohol so I was not afraid in anything.
After awhile I decided to go home and I drove off even in my tipsy state . I checked the time and it is still early its 9pm and decided to head home.
They all went out for dinner so I was able to go to my room smoothly.
After taking a shower and changing into my sleepwear I doze off.

I was awakened by the knock on my door.
(Young miss! Breakfast is ready and they have called for you- maid)
After I finished preparing I went straight to eat with my family. I took a sit at my usual seat and started eating quietly while listening to them .
Mrs. Xu : I have everything planned already it will be grand and elegant banquet just for you my dear Jiyao.
Jiyao: Mom you don't have to do this .
Mrs. Xu : Don't worry dear this all for you . I want everyone to know that you are my beloved daughter.You deserve this and so much more. Am I right , hon?
Mr. Xu : Yes hon. You don't have to worry Jiyao , your mom will be there for you all throughout your event.
Xu Junlin : Everything will turn out just fine Jiyao. All you have to do is enjoy.
Jiyao: Okay brother. I hope sister Ran will be there to accompany me because i don't know anyone in the party . Are you coming sister?
Xu Ran: If you insist, I will make time.
Xu Shinyao: You don't have to come really. Its for the best .
(Second son of the Xu's , a famous celebrity and a music enthusiast artist. )
I heard Shinyao beside me murmurs rather quietly.
Mrs. Xu: I have enrolled you to a university dear. Zhaoshin University is a famous university here. I will go with you tomorrow. Today I will be taking you to shop.
Finally the breakfast ended that took half my life.
I went straight to my research lab and started working my ass off. I checked my schedule and by 2pm I have neurosurgery operation scheduled.
After my successful operation was done I immidiately went home to avoid the pioneer doctors that keeps on praising me on my success handling this crucial operation.
I am dead tired and I want to rest.
I arrived sooner and went straight to my bed. Today nothing unusual happened .
