The Regressing Villain Returns

I died as the villain. I reincarnated, but wasn't able to take over the body. Turns out, the body I got reincarnated into was the body of the author who created my original world. After that body died, I was finally given control, but I was transmigrated back into my original world. I guess, now, I'm a regressor. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Release Rate: Check the schedule Chapter Length: 1200-1750 words per chapter My chapters are edited by myself, so forgive me if I make any mistakes. The Trash of the Family (3) - 3

Getting up from my position on the ground, I limped back to my room, dragging my broken leg behind the rest of my body.

Sure, it hurt, but I didn't wince. After all, I had felt worlds of pain from my first and second lives. This was just a drop in the ocean compared to some of the amounts of pain that I had felt before.

My face was just cold, as no emotion could be seen at all.

Well, actually, it looked more like I was bored, and well, this was the poker face that I had preferred in my past life, and that kid had preferred it too, so it was the poker face that I was most used to.

You could even call it my closest friend, as it never failed us once during the entirety of my first life and the entirety of his second life.

I was actually so used to it to the point that it had become my "regular" face, the face that I had on me at all times, the face that made me, "me".

I guess this was also a pretty dumb decision on my part, as it made me look like a kid with autism, especially at this age, as it just made me look like a stupid kid instead of a bored, apathetic man. This, obviously, had just been another reason for my 6th Brother to beat me up, as, well, my face...

Anyways, enough about that, the one thing I really needed to focus on today was the event, well, more specifically, the item that I would receive in a few minutes.

You see, today happened to be the day that I would receive a max rank "Talent Awakening Potion", which, well, its name was pretty self explanatory, wasn't it?

This was all due to the fact that my 6th Brother was leaving, as once the oldest one at the Ranch left, the second oldest would receive this potion.

As for my 1st Sister, well, she was never given a potion, as the 1st child was expected to be the best anyways.

Also, the reason I was called a trash even though I hadn't taken the potion yet was because, as we were the Aeronwens after all, every child was expected to awaken a talent by themselves before they even touched the potion.

Well, back to the situation, obviously, it was my turn now, and due to me receiving the potion on this exact day, well, nothing could have been better.

You see, back in my first life, I had taken the potion without thinking about anything, just hoping that my trash body would awaken a talent, and, in the end, I had just wasted the max level potion, as, even with its 99.99% success rate, my body was just too trashy for it to be able to do anything, and in the end, I had come out even worse than before I had taken the potion, with my mental strength being all but destroyed.

But this time, I had gotten everything I needed ready, and well, the world was also ready for me.

So, when the potion arrived with a knock on the door to my room, I eagerly opened the door and looked at the butler standing there, holding the potion in a velvet lined open suitcase, using gloves to hold the suitcase, before gingerly picking the vial up and placing it in my open hands.

I thanked the Butler for bringing me the potion before quickly closing my door and carefully placing the potion face up on my bed, watching as the white, silk sheets on my bed dimpled ever so slightly.

Then, turning to the windows in my room that could fit 20 children of my size in them, I went and opened all of them, letting the moonlight from the rare, once in a century, blood moon shine into my pale white colored room, a boring color, I know, but one that fit me perfectly, basking the whole room in a layer of blood-red haze.

I walked back and sat in a meditating position on my bed, as I delicately picked up the vial of potion that was actually smaller than the size of a normal teardrop.

Opening the palm of my other hand, I glanced at the pure white flower there, so white that the stems and leaves were also white, with the styles of the flower being almost a neon blue.

Then, I thrust the flower in my mouth, chewed it into a paste, and then tipped back the potion, not wasting a single drop, as I swished it around in my mouth with the paste of the chewed up flower for a little bit, mixing the two ingredients, before finally swallowing.

The changes in my body were almost immediate, as once the potion reached my stomach, it was absorbed through the lining and quickly spread through the entirety of my body, causing my hair to fly up and hang in the air, as the rest of my body lit up in a pink light, blending in with the blood-red haze that colored my entire room for this one moment.

Finally, once half of the potion's power was absorbed, I took another vial out of my pocket and immediately swigged it too, letting the slightly viscous liquid slowly drip down my throat before settling, satisfied, in my stomach.

With the introduction of this new catalyst, every single muscle on my body immediately tensed, as a sharp pain started drilling itself into my bones, causing me to throw my head back as black-red blood started pouring out of my eyes.

That was it, everything had been done, and now, I could only hope that my preparations had been enough for that 0.01% chance of failure to never manifest again in this life.

And well, I suddenly felt a scorching pain that consumed my entire body, and, before I blacked out, feeling this pain, I knew that everything had actually worked, so I smiled like a madman, showing my true self for the second time today.

It would probably be the last time in a while that I showed my true self.

...

I awoke to the sound of the birds chirping as the sun rose and shined a bright, white light through my open windows.

Opening only one eye, I immediately hissed, as I felt the pain coming from the bright light hitting my skin, and burning it.

But, feeling this pain, I nodded approvingly, as everything had gone as planned.

Well, maybe, I still had some things to check.

Quickly jumping out of bed, I opened my other eye and slinked around in the shadows until I had closed all the windows and blinds without once letting the sunlight touch me.

That would be a problem that I would be able to solve in the near future, but it was impossible to do so right now, at this moment.

Anyways, I quickly took out a knife that was always hidden under my bed, and, without hesitation, I cut a huge chunk of my flesh off my thigh.

But, unlike what usually happened to a normal person, I felt no pain, as, less than a second after the wound was inflicted, my flesh wriggled around a little bit and I healed immediately, with a new coat of pale skin covering the area.

Seeing that this had worked, I then went straight from 1 to 10 and stabbed the knife into my heart.

"Caccckkk!"

Yeah, this was definitely a risky decision, but I wasn't the type of guy that did things half-assed, it was either go big or go home.

And yeah, my gamble obviously paid off, because, after coughing up a little blood, I ripped the serrated dagger out of my chest, spraying white blood everywhere, but then, once again, everything closed up, and I was fine.

I mean, when I had cut off a portion of my thigh, no blood had even flowed, but because I had finally inflicted a fatal attack on myself, white blood had finally flowed.

Anyways, seeing the white blood, combined with the facts that I could literally heal from almost any wound, my skin had gotten paler, and, after looking in the mirror, my pupils had turned red, whilst the sclera had turned completely pitch black, I knew.

Everything had actually worked!

I almost started cackling right then and there, but held myself back, as I thought about some of the things that I would have to do in the future.

But, the present was the present, and my future younger sibling, the 8th Son of this family, my little brother, would be coming to the Ranch in a week.

So, before then, I had to train as much as possible, as I had to completely remake my trash body to one that could actually be proficient in some things.

After all, I was now a Vampire.

Thanks for reading!
