"You don't believe me, do you?" he asked her. Unexpected Party Invitation

"Anna!"

"Oh Professor Charlotte, hi." Merry was surprised by Professor Charlotte's unexpected visit to the studio. Well, it was Professor Charlotte's studio after all, but Merry was still taken aback. It was rare for Professor Charlotte to personally visit the studio, as she usually delegated tasks to her assistants. Also, it was quite late in the evening, and Merry wondered what could have prompted Professor Charlotte's visit at such an hour.

"You are still here working?" Professor Charlotte asked with a concerned tone, noticing Merry's presence in the studio at such a late hour.

Merry smiled and nodded, replying, "Yes, I wanted to finish up a few things before heading home."

Professor Charlotte scanned the studio, observing the paintings and artworks strewn across the space.

"You have been doing some exceptional work, Anna. Your skills have markedly improved since I last saw your paintings."
