"Then, there is no point in asking you anything in particular. You should just tell me everything you know," she told him.

"As I told you, I met you more than a month ago. After talking to you while I was being returned to my room, I heard the guards talking how I would not remember anything tomorrow because of the medicines," the boy said.

Further he continued to tell her, how the very day when they brought him dinner he saw the medicines along with the food in the plate.

But, he didn't take it even though the guards had specifically told him to take those pills because he got suspicious of their insistence.

So, he didn't take those pills for about one week and he could remember everything that happened that week and figured out that the cause of the memory loss were those pills.

After hearing that, she wanted to ask him what had he witnessed that week.

But before she could ask anything, he started speaking again. He told her that somehow, he had found out that there were many children in the same situation.

Some their age and others younger than them, some even like one or two year old children along with them being tested and researched on something.

He also told her that, many children were very weird here and could do things that normal people couldn't.

All of this information was a lot to take in for her. She was overwhelmed.

"Stop!" she said to him.

"First thing tell me how do you know about these things."

"You don't believe me, do you?" he asked her.

Even after waiting for her reply for a minute when he didn't hear anything he said, "It's because you don't remember the things you have seen."

"Then tell me what I have forgotten." she replied.

"Just like me probably you were also tested on various things like strength, speed, strong senses, telepathy, invisibility, learning ability, endurance to pain or like doing things with your mind. Some are good at something while others are not. I can only say that it seems everyone being tested here has some kind of their own superhuman powers. I could only find out that much after of one month observation" , he said.

He couldn't read her face as her face was blank and it looked like she was in a deep thought.

There really was a swirl of various emotions inside her.

In the beginning, she thought she was only kidnapped but now it looked like it was a lot more than that.

She didn't know how to take all this and even wondered how this boy can be so calm right now after knowing all of this.

Her thoughts unknown to him.

"You asked for my name, right? It looks like we are only given numbers", he said pointing towards the tag that was stitched on the left side of the shirt which looked more like something patients would wear in the hospital.
