A room which is uncomfortably quiet and a girl who is even more so weirdly quiet, other than her breathing nothing shows that she is alive. But inside her head there is a storm brewing ever since she decided to get out of that place. People with super powers. Not an imagination anymore?? People having powers divided between the evil path and the path of righteousness?? In the midst of all this, a blooming heartwarming romance as the saying goes 'Even in the times of war, love is still there.' So let's go on a journey together with me to further find out- Who's the girl? Why is she trying to leave? "You don't believe me, do you?" he asked her. Even after waiting to hear her reply for about a minute, when he didn't hear anything he said, "It's because you don't remember the things you have seen." "Then tell me everything. Desire to know the truth
"Yes, they were saying some of them had health issues and were taken to a different room for treatment", Cole replied.
After that more and more children kept lessening as if they were disappearing.
Merry was getting anxious and she had a very bad feeling about this.
One day, Cole returned after his training, she was excited to talk about his day as she was all alone for the entire day except someone came to gave her food.
She was about to ask how his day went but stopped when she saw him frowning.
"What happened? Why do you look so stressed?"
"Today after the first session of training as usual we were taken to get shots from the doctor. There when we all were taking those shots one of the kid immediately went limp on the floor and when I approached him, he was not breathing. The guards came into the room and took the boy saying he was just unconscious due to exhaustion and the doctors standing right beside us didn't even do anything."
Cole was concerned.
"Is he going to be alright?", Merry asked.
"I don't know, I don't think they are going to treat him. I already knew something was seriously wrong in this place but it looks like all of us have their lives at stake here."
"What do we do now?" Merry was worried what if something happened to Cole as he had also got the shot. Maybe her fate will also be the same.
"We need to gather more information about all of these stuffs first and only then act accordingly. We can't hasten and put ourselves in more danger."
Cole was determined to find answers.
"How will we find anything about this place when we basically have no idea what is going on?"
Merry expressed her concerns.
"I think we should talk to others they might know something" ,Cole suggested.
Neither she nor him had talked much except some small talks with others even though they lived in the same room everyday.
'Tomorrow I will try to talk with the people I train together',Cole murmered slowly to himself.
It took them nearly a week to find out that the shot they were given was some kind of chemicals to enhance their existing powers to another level.
But, unexpectedly it backfired to some and they were killed.
When Merry got this information, she was scared to death for Cole. He too was given that shot not once but on multiple occasions.
Her fear continued for a while. In contrast to her fear, his powers were actually enhanced.
He was stronger than before and he had more speed. The improvement couldn't be denied.
