Chapter 27: Match against burnley (cont.)

We ended the first half as such.

The second half resumed without any change from both team with Man United kicking off this time.

Not forgetting what happened towards the end of the first half and having received a lot of warning from the head coach, they went into the second half with a slightly cautious mentality trying to keep control of the ball while trying to kill the Burnley players' determination with a lot of patience before launching any attack.

Due to that there were no chances created for some time. After about 15 minutes in the match, the team decided to step up the tempo of the game after seeing the Burnley players starting to withdraw.

The players started using their superior energy and technique to blast the Burnley team who has a lot of young sides in their team, and as known about youngsters they find it hard to cope when things are going downhill.

Not long after Zidane Iqbal withdrew to get the ball from the keeper, used a Cruyff turn to beat the press and then sent a long diagonal pass to Garnacho who after getting the ball started quickly played a quick one two with Sancho who came to the left side to form a number advantage, On getting the ball back from Sancho, Garnacho using his quick feet cut pass the Burnley right back and faced the right centre back who happened to have gotten in a good position forcing Garnacho to stop his movement forward and pass to Sancho who rolled the ball through the legs of the Burnley defensive midfielder who came rushing like a bull before playing a simple one two with Martial who rested against the other center defender before making a run into the box taking the defender with him, Sancho upon receiving attemped to lay it through to martial before turning it into a spike, used Matthew sinking his shoulder for the last man and then rocketing in a shot with the mindset of venting as much as possible.

He took off his clothes while screaming I'm back! I'm back!! I'm back!!! While his team mates just looked him on with smiles on their faces while congratulating him after he went to hug his manager and put on his jersey back.

The game resumed after Sancho received a yellow card from the refree for pulling off his clothes while the Burnley players are starting to look listless.

The cgame came to the control of Manchester United from that point in with them setting up in game rondos and the Burnley players looking to chase them, while there seems to be no problem, there were several moment of scare in the game due to some misplaced passes here and there, but fortunately for Man Utd and unfortunately for the Burnley team and their fans some poor decision making resulted in them being counter robbed.

The game came to an end soon after with two more goals, one from martial, a tap in around the penalty spot after some nice team cooperationand the other from a long shot from Christian Ericksen.
