Chapter 1: The Girl With No Sense part 2

"So what is that green paper stuff in your lunch?" I ask Ryoko.

"Nori, but I guess the English word is to sea weed."

"So, based on the observations I've made based on your use of the words bento and nori, I'm guessing you are of Japanese descent," I state awkwardly, "Would I be correct in this assumption?"

"Yes but that's kind of weird that you said it like that, are you one of those weeaboos I've been warned about?"

"No, I have no interest in anime or manga, But I have been studying the language for reasons related to online gaming, also you don't have much room to talk about weeaboo's, Chunibyo girl."

"I'm not a Chunibyo girl, I am just someone who has happened to slay a God or 2," Ryoko says, visibly flustered, "Also you said you're learning Japanese, for a reason related to online gaming, would you happen to be one of those guys who like to invade bases in Rust and insult children in foreign languages?"

"You can't prove that you have no evidence," I say, trying to cover up the fact she hit the nail right on the head, also note to self delete rust from my PC it's become a bad habit even I can admit that.

"I can tell I was right, the power of the Knowledge God I felled has come in handy once again," Ryoko said with a smug face.

"Anyway, since we're friends now we should see what interests we have in common, I'll start I enjoy studying foreign languages, playing video games, reading, and trolling random discord servers."

"I enjoy watching anime, reading manga, cooking, eating, playing video games, and researching the occult to protect myself from the evil organization Death Corp," she said that last part while striking a pose even more extravagant and unusual than the last.

"You really need to lay off the anime and manga," I say with the most dead pan face I could manage.

"If I do that will you stop bullying kids online?"

"Sure but you have to go an entire day without watching anime or reading manga, but we would have to keep an eye on each other," I stated.

"Fine we can stay at my place with my dad, tomorrow is Friday after all, so we can have a sleep over."

Little did I know this weekend would be one of the strangest times of my life so far…
