Chapter 6

The next day

Ryan finally decided to talk to Maria, and he finally got the urge to speak t her again for the first time after the argument that happened between them about the homeless boy.

Before Ryan could leave his room, an idea popped out of his out of nowhere and he liked it. So he decided to take Maria to a dinner date, since he wanted to have a serious talk with her.

But he has a problem, whenever he go to talk t her she either ignore him like he doesn't even exist or answer him coldly, after all she was still mad at him.

After long timing of thinking, he called his assistant ta take care of his works for the day, and he told him to not interrupt him or call him even if there was somethin urgent, because for him Maria is more important.

Then he called one of the best and expensive restaurant in the city and booked it just for him and Maria, he even told the boss of the restaurant to prepare everything including the music and the table filling with bunch of roses.

Then he went to the mall to buy few things for Maria, like a dress, high heels and of course flowers and chocolates since they're her favorites. he would always buy them for her when she was on her period or when she gets sad over something...

But since he doesn't know what kind of dresses and high heels does Maria like, so he called one of the maids for help.

It was Maria's close friend Trixie.

''Hi, is this Trixie?'' said Ryan.

''Yes it is, do I know you? and where the fuck did you get my number?'' said the woman raising her voice through the phone.

''I'm Ryan, your boss'' said the boss with a serious tone.

''O-oh h-h-i, i-im s-so s-s-orry f-for s-shouting a-at y-you, i d-didn't k-know i-it w-was y-you'' said Trixie while stuttering as she was so scared of getting fired.

Trixie got a lot of phone calls from old men that always say inappropriate things to her like let's have fun sweetie at my house or can we meet up at the bar and lot of other disgusting shit. So that's why she thought it was another disgusting man but surprisingly it was her boss.

To say Ryan was having all of this would be a big lie, he hates it when someone raise his voice at him or curse at him, but since he really wanted her help, he didn't have a choice but to act nice with her.

''I really need your help at something'' said Ryan with a calm soft voice that made Trixie doubt that the man she's talking to, it's her boss.

''It'll be my pleasure to help you sir'' said Trixie without stuttering as she felt comfortable talking to him.

''I know you're Maria's close friend and she trusts you the most, so i guess you know what kind of clothes she likes and that stuff that basically i don't know'' said Ryan .

''Of course i know, umm sorry to ask you but are you taking her out or you just want to buy her presents?'' said the woman quietly as she was hesitated to ask her boss.

''well basically, both of them'' said Ryan as he chuckled.

Trixie was literally dying at this point, she was so confused at first by her boss's soft voice and now he fucking chuckled.

WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON, thought Trixie while trying to figure out what's going on.

''I want to know what kind of dresses and high heels she prefers, because I will take her to a dinner date and i want her to look fancy. I know she's already beautiful but wearing a dress will make her a goddess.'' said Ryan with a chuckle at the end.

''I can send you pictures if you want, and then you can choose whatever you like'' said Trixie with a calm voice trying not to freak out her boss as she was so happy for Maria because she knows that her bestfriend is in love with Ryan even though she denies her feelings every single day.

''Thank you so much Trixie, I really appreciate your effort and please I would like to keep this conversation private and don't tell Maria or any other one about this.''

''I will keep your phone number because i might need your help in the future so i would like to stay in touch with you, moreover thanks again for the help'' continues Ryan.

''Don't worry sir no one will ever know about this, and don't need to thank me because after all my first priority is to help you whenever you need me. Good luck with Maria and I'm pretty sure she would love the presents.'' Trixie said lips parted as she was smiling so hard because she loves this side of her boss more which is the soft and nice one, and also because her thoughts about her friend's and boss's feelings were true, she knew it all along but Maria would always deny Ryan's feelings.

''I'll go now Trixie, it was nice talking to you bye'' said Ryan and hung up right before the maid could say anything, he didn't want to sound rude or something but he was in a hurry to but all the presents before it's too late.

He checked his phone messages and he found the pictures that Trixie send to him, he was looking at the photos and chose the dress that would look absolutely stunning on Maria and then he went to search for it.

Since it was from a famous brand it wasn't that hard to look for it.

He entered the Gucci store and went directly to the cashier and showed her the dress.

''That's a beautiful dress, It would look amazing on your girlfriend'' said the cashier with a smile on her face.

''It would obviously look gorgeous on her that's why i came to buy it for her'' said Ryan with a sarcastic tone.

''She is the prettiest woman I've ever seen in my life, and I'm lucky enough to have her'' Ryan continues admitting Maria being his girlfriend even though he know she wasn't, but he was confident that tonight will be the day when he will call her mine.
