Chapter 7

Later that day

Ryan finished buying everything and especially the flowers since he can't miss this opportunity to finally apologize to Maria, and flowers are a must for her.

When he came back home, he went directly to the kitchen and looked for trixie.

"Trixie, can i talk to you for a second" said the mafia with a soft voice.

"Sure boss" said trixie with a big smile.

To say everyone was okay with the interaction, would be a big lie!

Their cold hearted boss talked with a soft voice to a maid for the first time is a big problem for them because they were jealous whenever he talks with Maria, and now Trixie!

"Did he just talked with a soft voice" said one of the maids to the others.

"Yeah he did, i bet he likes her that's why he talked to her like that" said her friend while rolling her eyes on the thought of their boss being kind.

"How would you know if he likes her just because he treated her kindly, our boss is not rude all of the time" said Maria raising her voice a little bit as she was furious.

"Well apparently, he is not rude just to you" said the maid pointing at Maria.

"Why are you even mad if he likes her, it's not like he is your boyfriend or something" she continued.

"Yeah true, you don't have the right to be jealous, you're not as beautiful and as pretty as her, just look at you"

Maria was not the kind of people who would get sad if someone makes fun of her or bully her. So she didn't care less if they told her she is ugly or have a thin body or anything.

But since she is an overthinker, she always thinks what others say might be true even though she knows it's not.

But then again she remembered the interaction between her bestfriend and Ryan.

"Did he just said the other day he likes me and want to spent his whole life with me, and now he is sweet talking to trixie!

Really trixie, my bestfriend who i told her about my feelings for Ryan every single day and she's the only one who knows how much i love him, how could she do that to me" thought maria on the verge of crying.

She quickly went to her room to start packing her clothes because she couldn't take it anymore.

The jealousy hit her so hard, the thought of Ryan using her and making her a fool of herself thinking he actually likes her.

He played with her feelings and she was already sad and stressed because of the argument they had, but now him talking to trixie made her go insane.

On the way to her room she heard some whisperings.

She got curious and hid behind the wall to see what's going on.

"I'm sure she would love this, boss"

She? Who is she. I'm sure that's trixie but who is she talking about, i thought Ryan was interested in her.

"I hope so, i really can't sleep these days without feeling guilty about the argument, i was so stupid to make her mad, i am such an asshole, she doesn't even spare me a glance, whenever i want to talk to her i remember her words and shut up because i can't live without her, but i'm sure she hates me now"

Maria wided her eyes to the realization, Ryan was talking to trixie about her, and his confession made her heart broke, she didn't think at all about Ryan's feelings.

The thought of him not sleeping because of how she ignores him and doesn't even look at him. Hurts her so bad.

She couldn't listen more to the conversation between the two, she went running to the backyard to clean her mind and her thoughts, since it was her comfort place.

"I hurt him so bad while here i am thinking he was playing with my feelings and was interested in Trixie, how can i be so stupid to think that. From the day he met me, he was being kind to me, he never ever yelled at me or got angry at me" murmured Maria under her breath while tears flowing all over her face.

"Are you okay?" A soft voice caught Maria's attention.

She knew it was Ryan but she didn't dare to lift her head up as she was feeling embarassed because of the crying.

"Uhm i'm okay, thanks for asking, i-i b-better be leaving now" said maria while her head was still focused on her lap.

She stood up to leave but a strong hands grabbed her wrist softly and stopped her from leaving.

"Maria, please at least this time look at me, please" said Ryan with a pleading voice.

Maria hesitated to look at him as she was embarassed, but Ryan lifted her chin up and looked at her face.

Her eyes were puffy and swollen and red from all the crying.

He carassed her cheeks and wiped her tears out of her beautiful soft face.

"Why were you crying, is it because of me?" Asked Ryan with a calm voice.

He knew he was the reason behind her crying and it hurted him so bad because he didn't want to make her sad, but his stupid mouth doesn't know how to speak only when necessary.

And that's only when he's with her, because he is always the cold hearted person with no feelings towards everyone exept Maria and his parents.

"I-it's n-n-not-thing b-boss, i-it h-has nothing to do with you, i'm just stressed" said Maria while stuttering as she was still embarassed and ashamed.

"Boss? Did you really just called me boss? Seriously" said Ryan with a cold stern voice.

Maria stayed quiet as she didn't know what to say at that moment.

"I-i'm s-sorry Ryan, i-i'm s-so s-sorry" said Maria with a shaky voice.

She broked down crying so hard and Ryan noticed her crying again and without thinking he pulled her into a hug to calm her down.

He didn't know what's going on with her as she wasn't talking or saying anything.

She kept repeating sorry again and again and Ryan didn't know what to do.

After some minutes.

Ryan was hearing soft snores coming from his chest, he knew Maria slept.

He looked at her sleeping and he wished that moment could last long.

He picked her bridal style and took her to her room.

He layed her on her bed and he was lucky enough cuz she was sleeping.

He placed down the flowers and the chocolates beside her, and of course the letter.

He left her room with high hopes that Maria would like to go on a date with him.

When Maria woke up, she was confused as why she was on her room.

But then she remembered the little moment that happened between her and Ryan and her cheeks were glowing red as she felt shy to the skinship. She would always feel shy whenever Ryan touch her, and she likes it so much because she feels safe and protected.

"What is this?" Said Maria as she saw flowers and chocolates on her bed.

She picked the flowers with a smile on her face and read the letter.

She knew it was from Ryan because no one can enter her room beside him and Trixie.

Tears were running on her face as she was reading the letter.
