Chapter 3: Pretendig To Love

"Hello?' Peony said to the caller, 'Tonight take your time, we have dinner together!' said the caller.

Peony froze, she still couldn't believe what was natural at this moment. He made sure he looked back at the phone screen.

'Hey, did you hear what I said?' asked Arion who was confused because he didn't hear Peony's voice again.

'H-hah!! Listen, Sis, this is really Sis Arion, right?' he asked again.

'Do you know any other Arion besides me?'

'No sis! I only know Sis Arion Johnson,' answered Peony excitedly.

'So how? Want to have dinner with me?' Arion asked again.

'Really, really,'

'Okay, I'll be waiting for you at the Platinum Restaurant tonight!'

'Okay, Sis.' The call was cut off, more precisely, Arion decided it first.

Peony suddenly went limp, not limp from lack of air, but limp from shock. Arion contacted him first, which was what surprised him. All this time Arion had been very indifferent to him and suddenly taking Peony to dinner, of course, surprised him. Peony got back to her car, and headed for her Campus with a very happy face.

"Huft... I hope he doesn't suspect anything!" Arion muttered as he ended the call.

Arion had decided to pretend to love Peony, so that their role in front of his Mama and Papa seemed real and not suspicious. Sabrina is a gentle and loving mother. Only one trait of his mother that irritated Arion, namely his psychic nature. Arion will always be caught if he lies to his mother. Arion was again busy with some of his work, so it didn't feel like time was moving faster. Day replaces night. Arion remembered his promise to Peony, he immediately rushed to meet Peony. Arion deliberately didn't ask Jimmy to accompany him, because he wanted his acting to look natural in front of Peony. Arion arrived at the Platinum Restaurant, he thought he would be late and made Peony wait. But it was a big mistake, it turned out that it was Arion who was made to wait by Peony. Almost 10 minutes Arion waited, finally Peony came with a always beautiful and sweet appearance. Arion himself recognizes Peony's beauty, but his heart can't open up to someone again.

"Sorry bro, I'm late. There was a traffic jam earlier," said Peony who saw Arion's face was slightly unfriendly.

"Hmm…." Arion just cleared his throat.

"Brother Arion angry?" asked Peony feeling a little guilty.

"Never mind, don't talk about it, it's natural that you are late because traffic jams have become a tradition in this city!" Arion answered.

"H-hah!!" Peony was a little surprised, because it was unusual for Arion to be gentle and ignore his mistakes.

"I invited you to dinner, because I wanted to say I like you."

"W-what!!" Peony shrieked again. Peony immediately covered her mouth when she came to the attention of diners for squealing too loudly.

"You can just get used to it, can't you?" asked Arion who was a little embarrassed by Peony's behavior.

"I can't, sis. Because this is really awesome for me!!" replied Peony.

"Up to you!! You like me, right?" asked Arion. Peony immediately nodded.

"Yes, from now on we are dating!" said Arion briefly.

"W-what, sis?" Peony explained, he just wanted to make sure Arion's words. Peony was afraid she had heard wrong.

"CK-, from now on we are dating!!" he answered.

"You seriously like me too?"

"You naughty, finish the food quickly!!" Aaron's orders.

Peony fell silent, and continued to eat. He tried to obey Arion's orders, because he was afraid that Arion would change his decision. After dinner they separated and went home with their respective cars. But there is something that keeps bothering Peony's mind, namely Arion's words to invite Peony to his house this weekend.

'Is it true that Sis Arion likes me?' Peony thought.

It doesn't feel like the weekend has arrived, usually if it's a weekend like this, Arion will hangout with his friends. But not this weekend, he had promised Peony to take him to meet Mama-Papa Arion. Since Arion decided to pretend to love Peony, Arion carried out the totality of his role as a lover these few days. From starting to communicate with each other over the phone before they both fell asleep. And exchanged messages every day asking each other's activities. Arion didn't pick up Peony, instead he asked Peony to come to his house alone. At first Peony hesitated, but Arion assured himself that his mother would bless them.

"Ar, where's your promise? You say you want to bring your lover?" Bill Sabrina to Arion. Ting-Tong ... the doorbell of the Johnson residence rang.

"Well there he is, Arion's lover. It's here," Arion replied to Sabrina.

Arion rushed towards the main door to open the door to welcome Peony. Sabrina, who was curious, followed Arion from behind.

"Hey honey, it's been so long. I've been waiting for this too!" said Arion as he opened the door.

Sabrina who was behind Arion, covered her mouth with both hands. He couldn't believe what he saw.

"P-Peony???" call Sabrina.

"Yes Auntie, how are you?" said Peony smiling.

"You ...?" Sabrina still couldn't believe what she saw. How could Sabrina believe it, if all this time Arion's treatment of Peony was very bad. And now suddenly Arion called Peony affectionately.

"Yes Mam, this Peony is Arion's lover." Arion replied smiling.

"Come on in, honey. Let's just sit in the family room!" take Arion.

They moved to the family room to continue their conversation. Sabrina's actually happy if Arion is in a relationship with Peony, it's just that Sabrina feels that there is something odd about Arion's change.

"So how long have you two been dating?" asked Sabrina.

"It's been 2 months, we've been in touch secretly." Arion replied lying.

Peony immediately turned to Arion, staring at Arion's lies. But Arion instead kissed Peony's lips, in front of the Mama. Making Peony's eyes widen even more.

'I looked at him, didn't mean to be kissed.' Peony thought.

"2 months? So you've been curt and indifferent towards Peony, just pretending all along?" asked Sabrina.

"Mommy can already guess, right? So I don't need to explain anymore!!"

"Well then, next month Mama will prepare your wedding!!" said Sabrina.

"W-what???" said Peony and Arion at the same time.

"Why are you surprised? You guys love each other, right? Then get married right away!!"

"Pa... Papa, come here Pa. We have our future son-in-law!" shouted Sabrina calling for Albert, after telling Peony and Arion to marry.

"Yeah, too soon for the wedding, Mom!!" Arion protested.

He is upset because his mother always makes decisions, without discussing it first. Even though Arion's intention was to just pretend to date Peony and then break up by pretending to disagree, but instead he was asked to marry Peony.

"Nothing too soon, right Peony. You want to marry Arion right?" asked Sabrina.

Peony, who was still surprised, just nodded her head in response to Sabrina's question.
