Opening a new club

After 23 days...

The students of the superhero academy were all in a hurry to join different groups except Gabriel because the interclass competition 1 week away. During these 23 days Gabriel tried to find the location of records room but there was no information. He only knows that Principal is the only one who knows the location of the room and it is protected by a security magic called "Facial Imprint".

The "facial imprint" is just like modern day "face identification" technologies but with magic. Only when the person's entire face is scanned by magic will the room be accessed. So Gabriel knew that there is no use trying to find the record room for now. He decided to concentrate on finding the cult members and extracting the information from them.

Gabriel was in class listening to Fiona in homeroom. "Now you guys got a chance to prove your worth just like one of the members in the class overdid it." said Fiona trying to tease Gabriel. It took some time but Gabriel got accustomed to Fiona's teasing behavior.

Rina has been plotting her revenge on Gabriel and she is now in cahoots with the 4 big shots to teach Gabriel a lesson.

Honestly Gabriel just wanted them to leave him alone but he knew that it was just wishful thinking. During the last week the three noble children who joined after him came with a proposal to overthrow the current system in the academy and create a new one where nobles ruled over others.

The three children were "Franklin Leopold, Lisa Thompson and Zed Stone." They came to know how Gabriel shut off Rina by completing the Venus Ranked mission and tried to gain the favor of Gabriel. They promised higher positions if he helped them but Gabriel knew the true faces of their families so he declined all of them straight to their faces which hurt their pride.

They threatened to make his life miserable in the academy and also make Penelope suffer. Gabriel one hearing those words released a killing intent which made all three of them faint and they did not bother him anymore.

Fiona looked at Gabriel and asked with a teasing tone. "So, what will our lone noble be doing in the competition?"

Gabriel kept his two fingers on the side of his forehead and looked at her with a gaze saying "Are your serious?"

Fiona laughed and said "I know that you are not participating since you have already proven yourself but if the class average increases other than other sections then there will be a lot of benefits to the class."

"That's not my problem." said Gabriel coldly. Fiona expected him to reject her suggestion but he did not expect such a blatant rejection.

"What? Are you afraid?" mocked Rina trying to agitate. "Think whatever you like." replied Gabriel without any interest.

If he was so gullible he could have fallen for such taunts during his Police life but he did no such thing.

Leaving Zack and Griffith other two boys in the class Samuel and Dean decided to mock Gabriel and Samuel said "Oh! Looks like the shitty noble is afraid. No wonder he is not participating."

"This is the difference between you and us. We worked our way here while you use your money and influence to buy the seat in the academy." mocked Dean.

Gabriel was feeling amused by their comments and looked them as temper tantrums. He kept quiet and let them rant.

The reason for Gabriel not participating in the competition is quite simple. He doesn't want too much attention. He does not mind bringing attention towards himself up to some extent but too much attention is as much bad.

Since he is in the academy and has strong powers it is impossible not to draw eyes towards him. if he had low powers then that would have worked since he can become a background character but that is not the case here so he needs to be careful.

The 4 girls in the class Harriet, Eva, Roxanne and Katrina were disgusted by Samuel and Dean. Though the girls didn't directly support Gabriel they had respect towards Gabriel since he proved himself by completing the mission.

Harriet and Roxanne were residents of Dexter Barony and they were able to attend the academy because of Gabriel's mother Evelyn. The two of them contracted a disease a year ago which would have taken their lives if Evelyn didn't cure them.

Evelyn gave them money and place to stay. They awakened their powers 6 months ago and Evelyn gave them money to attend academy and join scholarship program. They could never forget that Gabriel's mother gave them a new life. But they could not defend Gabriel in the class because there will be a backlash which would affect their academy life.

Of course they did not know much about Gabriel because he was mysterious and silent compared to Ian. They did not know that Gabriel didn't need any help against those guys.

Zack and Griffith were gritting their teeth at the naivety of Samuel and Dean. "Shut up." said Fiona at Samuel and Dean because they were acting like immature brats.

"You did not choose a club too. There is only two days left." said Fiona. Gabriel knew that clubs are mandatory but he did not pay much attention.

Since he needed experience to ascend the realms he wanted a club which would help him level up. Gabriel knew that such a question would come so he decided to form a new club which would involve going on "Dimensional protection" activities from different creatures. There are dimensional gateways all over the continent.

These gateways are only one way. No one from the world can enter to other side and only creatures from other side can enter this world. The color of the gate indicates the rank. They are classified as White, Blue, Green, Yellow, Purple and Red.

If the gate is white then there is no threat while Red is a severe threat. Gabriel looked at Fiona and asked "Can I open my own club?"

Fiona smiled and said "You can but you need three members for a club." Gabriel nodded and said "It will be done by evening."

Fiona was amused on hearing those words. She knew that no one would come and join his club and he would end up in other clubs.

The classes continued and in the evening Gabriel entered the staff with two members beside him. Gabriel came towards Fiona and gave her the paper. When she looked at the two members they were Harriet and Roxanne.

When Gabriel said that he would form a new club he thought about asking Balthazar for help but Harriet and Roxanne approached him before he could do that. He saw that they had no ill intentions and only had a thought of helping Gabriel.

"You surprise me a lot, Gabriel. I thought you were only spouting non sense but I never expected you to gather members for your club.

I knew that Dexters liked to act before talking but I still underestimated you." said Fiona taking the papers and put a approval mark.

He was given a room which is completely unclean and unused. But Gabriel didn't care and took the help of girls to turn into a beautiful club. He told them how they will be involved in fighting the dimensional creatures. The girls were afraid but Gabriel convinced them that they would become strong only by facing such dangers.

The girls thought and agreed. In their first meeting they decided to go for a Blue gate in Duke McMillan's territory using "Transport Rock" in the academy.
