"Alright, if that's what you want, I'll fight it!" He shouted with unwavering resolve.
"Fire Magic: Fire Spears!" Allen snapped his fingers, conjuring twenty colossal fire spears that swirled around him.
"Go ahead!" He commanded, and all twenty fire spears shot swiftly towards the Grython snake.
"Sssshh!" The Grython snake, sensing the incoming attack, quickly coiled its body to defend itself.
"Whooshh!" The twenty fire spears penetrated the snake's massive body, transforming into fiery explosions upon impact.
"Boom!"
The explosions from the twenty fire spears reverberated throughout the cave, sending black smoke billowing into the air.
The acrid smell of burning flesh filled the surroundings.
However, Allen, keenly aware of the situation, understood that this attack wouldn't be enough to kill the Grython snake!
As expected, despite its body being burned and black blood oozing out, the snake swiftly returned to its original position, fixing its enraged gaze on Allen.
"Whoosh!" The snake lunged forward, its mouth wide open, aiming to strike Allen!
Anticipating the snake's swift retaliation, Allen promptly employed his wind magic.
"Wind Magic: Acceleration!" He moved rapidly, reappearing fifteen meters away from his previous position.
"Boom!"
The snake's attack missed its target, but it aggressively charged back towards the spot where Allen had just landed.
"Shit!" Allen cursed under his breath and quickly brought his palms together while chanting an incantation.
"Earth Magic: Earth Wall!" As he completed the spell, the ground in front of him trembled, and a solid five-meter wall sprouted up as a protective barrier.
"Boom!"
The snake collided forcefully with the earth wall, fortunately causing only slight cracks to form.
Seeing the opportunity, Allen wasted no time in utilizing his wind magic.
"Wind Magic: Acceleration!" He vanished and reappeared in mid-air.
Without hesitation, he extended his palms upward.
"Fire Magic: Fire Meteor!" Instantly, a massive fireball materialized above his palm, formed from the surrounding air.
The fireball spun at an astonishing speed, causing the cave's temperature to plummet dramatically.
This was five-star magic!
Meanwhile, the Grython Snake, having recovered from its collision with the earthen wall, raised its head.
"Shhhh!" Recognizing the impending danger, the snake swiftly moved away, attempting to evade the attack.
However, Allen wasn't about to let it escape so easily!
"Running won't save you! Not a chance!" He bellowed with determination, hurling the colossal fireball directly at the Grython snake.
"Boom!"
The massive fireball made contact, and its intense flames consumed the snake's body mercilessly.
"Shhhhhh!"
The Grython writhed in agony, charging around the cave with heightened aggression, wreaking havoc and destruction in its path.
Fortunately, the intense battle between Allen and the snake occurred deep within the cave, sparing the treasure from any damage caused by the Grython's aggressive attacks, even as its own body remained engulfed in flames.
As Allen observed from a floating position, he panted heavily, feeling his magic energy deplete rapidly.
Continuous spellcasting, coupled with the use of his ultimate magic, had left him drained.
Thankfully, the Grython's movements gradually ceased, and its once-fierce body now lay motionless on the ground.
The intense flames continued to burn the massive, lifeless snake's body.
With everything appearing to be secure, Allen landed his body on the ground, then sprawled out, overwhelmed by a profound sense of exhaustion.
"Damn it! My magic energy reserves are so depleted that my body feels incredibly stiff!" He frowned, muttering in annoyance.
When the body's mana, which serves as the core of a [Mage], is completely exhausted, it enters a phase known as "Freezing," rendering the body rigid and immobile.
Allen had experienced this in his previous life during countless battles.
Since this was the first time he had experienced such exhaustion in his new life, it left Allen feeling somewhat uncomfortable.
"Fortunately, I brought a mana potion!" Allen sighed in relief and forced his hand to open the small bag hanging from his waist.
He retrieved a small mana potion and swiftly downed it in one gulp.
"Gluk!"
As soon as the potion coursed through his body, he felt the flow of mana return, gradually alleviating the stiffness.
"Finally..." Allen shook his head and rose from the ground.
"This fight was surprisingly quick, and I sense that this Grython snake may be slightly weaker than I initially thought."
He mused as he approached the snake, whose body was now completely burned.
The flames gradually subsided due to the lack of oxygen in the cave, which couldn't sustain the burning process.
"Strange... did I misjudge the strength of the Grython snake, or is it possible that their species isn't as formidable?" Allen pondered, sensing something unusual about this particular Grython snake and comparing it to the one he had encountered fighting the berserk bear outside.
Then a realization struck him: this snake was slightly smaller and had only one horn on its head!
"This Grython is not of the mysterious level!" He took a step back, his expression turning gloomy.
"Damn it! I made a big mistake!" Allen cursed inwardly.
"Wind Magic: Acceleration!" He swiftly employed his wind magic, vanishing from his current position and reappearing right at the treasure pile at the mouth of the cave.
Without hesitation, he waved his hand while whispering, "Activate the system bag!"
Immediately, a notification from the system appeared before his eyes—one of the functions he had learned to utilize!
---------------------
[Save everything to the system bag?]
[Yes/No]
-----------------------
Without hesitation, he pressed the "yes" button, and all the treasures transformed into radiant light, vanishing from the cave.
Allen wasted no time and immediately cast his wind magic.
"Wind Magic: Unification With Air!"
In an instant, he vanished like the wind, his figure blending seamlessly with the air.
"Boom!"
True to his expectations, three minutes after his disappearance, the entire cave was engulfed in destruction.
A massive snake, over a dozen meters long, emerged from the debris, carrying a large dead bear in its mouth.
Its eerie red eyes were fixed on the cave's inside.
"Ssshhh!"
