Eun Ae's POV.

When in doubt, smile.

That is what someone told me, a special someone.

And I'm gonna use that here and let me tell you how effective that method is, because right in front of me stands the one and only, Jeon Jungkook.

You must be wondering how he got here?

FLASHBACK.

Well, after a brief conference with the board of members, I came right to my office, but on the way here, I saw him. But I didn't give him his deserved attention.

Therefore, you can imagine he must be pissed,insulted and probably dumbfounded, well that was my intention.

Noticing his tensed expression, Sreya followed me into my cabin.

Sreya: Ms Ahn, Mr Jeon has been waiting there for a while now and he has been wanting to speak with you.

Placing myself on to the chair and putting out the files I needed. And looking through them, I replied:

Ask him to wait.

Sreya: but he said it was important.

Eun Ae: Ask him to wait, Sreya. If it is that important surely he can wait some time, right? Tell him, I'm busy.

Tell him these exact words.

After a heave of sigh, she left bowing with a reply of 'Yes, Ms Ahn'.

Jungkook's POV:

How could she do that?!

Without giving me any attention or anything? Like seriously?!

Wow, here I am trying to sort out things out or at least try...wow.

Like the nerve of this woman!

Wait until I show who I am and who is actually in charge here!

The door behind me opened, revealing her secretary.

Sreya: Sorry to inform you, but she is busy and asked you to wait.

Waiiiittttt?!

Jungkook: What?! Doesn't she know who I am ? Or the fact I needed to talk to her? It's important.

She looks unfazed and replied: I have informed her that it was important but she said in exact words were and I quote: 'Ask him to wait, If it is that important surely he can wait some time, right?'

Unbelievable. Fine if she wants to play, let's play.

Jungkook: Fine.

I went and sat on the couch and waited.

TIME SKIP.

Eun Ae's POV:

Fast forward to now.

It was currently 11am.

I was about to head out for a meeting with a client but the sudden bang made me flinch and look at the door.

Jeon Jungkook.

He was fuming.

An expected reaction.

I looked at him followed by Sreya, who seemed to have a shocked and worried expression.

Sreya: I tried to stop him. I apologise, Ms Ahn.

I sighed and closed my bag and put it to the side.

Eun Ae: it's fine sreya, you can leave.

She bowed and closed the door behind her.

I shifted my eyes towards him.

Eun Ae: Can I help you with something?

He let out of a scoff followed by a chuckle.

Jungkook: Yah, I have been waiting so long to talk to you and you told me to waittt?!!!! Meee of all people?! And do you know how long I have been waiting for?!

I looked at my watch. It read 12pm.

Eun Ae: 3 hours.

Jungkook: Excuse me?

Eun Ae: You waited for exactly 3 hours. The time now is 12pm. You started waiting at 9am? So total of 3 hours.

Jungkook: You have been timing me? This entire time?

Eun Ae: Yes, is there a problem?

Jungkook looked confused and more Irritated than before.

Jungkook: Yes it is. Why exactly were you timing me?!

Eun Ae: To test your level of patience.

Jungkook: I'm sorry whattt?! My patience?!

Eun Ae: Yes, and it seems like you have low one at that!

He puffed out a heated breath.

Jungkook: What the fuck do you mean?!

Eun Ae: Mind you language Jungkook-shi, this is not your house. And to be fair, I expected your out-burst much earlier but you surprised me, but you still need to work on it.

He scoffed. Man he has been scoffing for how many times now!

Eun Ae: You said you wanted to speak with me about something?

He just stood there with a look of disbelief.

Eun Ae: If you something to say, I advise you to make it quick. I'm quite busy.

He looked down as if he forgot what he had to say that was quite important.

Eun Ae: So you waited for three hours to say something and now you got nothing to say?

I sighed.

Eun Ae: So your wasting your time and mine then.

I grabbed my bag and got up and wearing my coat I said:

If you have nothing to do, I suggest you take your leave.

I didn't hear any movements.

I went past him.

Eun Ae: Close the door is when you leave.

But as I was about to step out.

I heard him say something that stopped me from everything.

Jungkook: I'm asking you for old times sake... Why exactly are you here.. Ae-ah?
