FLASHBACK.

Mr Jeon: Eun Ae-ah... Is this true?

Eun Ae: Yes. Please pretend that you don't know about this, and I'm sorry sir for telling you this sooner.

Mr Jeon: Did my wife really did that to your... mother?

I nodded.

And you were in love with my son...?

I nodded.

Eun Ae: I figured you had the right to know sir. I did not want to make you suffer through the act any longer. The decision is yours, sir. You can shout at me and let me go back to the US or do whatever you like, but I will make your wife pay for her...sins.

I will bring her to justice myself.

Author's POV.

Mr Jeon was pondering over what Eun Ae said. He was horrified, angry, distressed, disappointed and betrayed at the fact his own wife and son were doing these things behind his back. How could they destroy a person's life so brutally? How many lives have they ruined? He was left with a question.

Do I know my own wife?

After hearing Eun Ae's honest confession, even though she could have hidden this from him, he felt appreciated that Eun Ae told the truth, even if it was hurtful one.

As he was staring at the window looking at the view before him, trying to come up with a solution. A conclusion was more of the word, that would change his life and the risk to reach the endpoint, he knew very well it is not going to end well. Someone will suffer.

That should be...who?

Mr Jeon had two choices.

One, choose to ignore his wife's lawless acts that never came to his notice and ignore the image of teary eyes of Eun Ae and send her back discarding his previous announcement of training his son.

Or... help Eun Ae get her rightful justice.

He closed his eyes and let out a silent sigh.

Coming to his final decision, he mouthed his personal pledge:

'One must suffer for their consequences, no matter who they...are'.

Flashing his eyes open, he reached out for his phone.

???: Hello?

On the other side.

Eun Ae's POV

I was looking through the files, unbothered by Sreya's stare.

Without looking up, I asked her: Is there something bothering you?

She scoffed and stated: I should you be asking you that.

A heavy sigh left my mouth and I looked up to her: What is it?

Folding her arms across her chest and with a stern look,

she replied: What if he tells you to leave? what are you going to do then? Even after what you told him, do you think he will forgive you and accept the deal?

I told Sreya about the private confession with Mr Jeon.

Eun Ae: He deserved to know, Sreya. He deserved to know who his wife actually is, and what she did.

And as for the deal, he will accept it.

Sreya looked confused and said: What do you mean? How do you know for sure?

Eun Ae: Because his eyes told me he forgives me, and besides Mr Jeon is a man of his words. He is not that unfaithful bitch.

I sighed and stated: He will accept the offer. Just you wait.

Sreya: Fine, if you say so. But don't you dare to get yourself hurt in the end...again.

I smiled and said: I won't, I promise.

She smiled and nodded.

Right then, the phone ringed.

I picked up the phone and showed the screen to Sreya.

The name Mr Jeon

I looked at Sreya and smirked: told you.

I answered the call and on speaker so Sreya can hear, and I motioned her to stay quiet and listen.

Eun Ae: Hello?

Mr Jeon: Would you like some help to fight justice, Eun Ae?

A victorious smile appeared on my face as I looked up at Sreya,

Eun Ae: Are you offering to help me, Mr Jeon?

I wanted an answer as clear as possible.

Mr Jeon: Yes, Eun Ae, think of it as an apology.

Eun Ae: I appreciate your help, but will you be able to face the consequences, Mr Jeon?

Mr Jeon: If I was not ready, I wouldn't have called you.

Eun Ae: I see, Mr Jeon.

Mr Jeon: What is the plan?

Eun Ae: I will tell you directly, but first, I will continue with the task and the main purpose of my visit, to teach your son, the qualifications he needs.

Mr Jeon: Okay, when will you start?

Eun Ae: Tomorrow, tell your son to be prepared, sir.

Mr Jeon: I will, goodbye Eun Ae.

Eun Ae: Goodbye, sir.

I ended the call and looked at Sreya.

Eun Ae: We got the confirmation we need, so start with the conference tomorrow.
