(AN: I didn't expect so many people to want to hear more of this story. So here is another chapter. It's a bit longer than the first one.)
In downtown new york, a newly sold office building.
Hundreds of blue-skinned construction workers were moving about, bringing in materials to rework the building. These were all obviously clones of Genie, who had just bought the building and set up his own company. Occasionally, there would be one or two construction workers performing comedy bits for the passers-by, like using oversized hammers to nail in nails, and bolts, or just being ridiculous. Meanwhile, the actual Genie... had just walked out of an official heroes license branch with his own hero license.
"Aw, I'm so glad I got my haircut before I got my hero picture! Hey you- random pedestrian, give me your honest reaction. How do I look?" Genie appeared in front of a guy in a business suit and held out his hero license. It had a picture of him in prison stripes, with a straight face like a mug shot.
His hero's name was Blue Felon and he dressed exactly like what a prison inmate would look like in his stripes.
"Hmm- It's fantastic." The business suit man said as he gave his honest reaction with a straight face.
"Hehe," Genie laughed a bit, before poofing into the construction lot of his newly bought company building.
Yes, he was now the official CEO of a technology and digital arts company: Blue Man Group. His goal in doing these things? Well, he wants to make some video games. And while he could just snap his fingers and have these things done, he would find it boring. So he set up a company to make himself as noticeable as possible. Genie is a very loud individual, when he arrives in a world, he would want everyone to know!
Genie was wearing a black CEO suit overlooking the rest of the construction teams.
"Where is the foreman? I need to speak with him! This is unacceptable, I paid him to have this work done 2 minutes ago." Genie said, looking angry while pointing to his Mickey Mouse watch on his wrist at the nearest construction worker.
"Yes sir, right away sir." The Genie clone bowed and saluted at the same time before he ran off and came back with the foreman.
The foreman was another clone of Genie, who looked exactly like the construction workers, the only difference was he had a giant number four written on his forehead.
"Hello, Mr. Genie, I apologize for the delay we were just-" The foreman began to apologize, but before he could continue to bite he froze.
In fact, all of the Genie clones froze and glanced in a certain direction. It seems that Genie had his bit interrupted as someone had found one of his genie tokens so soon! Genie snapped his fingers and the building materials all floated up and came together like a beautiful Lego set being built in front of him. All his construction clones merged with him and he put an end to his fun bit.
Onlookers had their mouths hung open with some gasps watching such a beautiful display of ordered and perfect buildings. The building that had been only half finished earlier, was now completely finished, and it was by far the most creative building most had ever seen. It had different design concepts from different games that Genie was going to make, integrated throughout the floors of a skyscraper. The first floor, second floor, and third floor were all Minecraft themed following the style of the main world, the nether, and the end respectively.
There were even purple ender particles floating out from the third office building layer, making it look mysterious and magical.
Genie ignored the gasps around him and just poofed away, reappearing at the location of the lucky kid who found his token.
...
Kansas City, Missouri, Millerhouse Reseraunt.
A small 8-year-old boy came running after two other boys on the open street outside the Millerhouse Reseraunt. He was breathing heavily and had a long scar running down the right side of his face, next to his ear. He had small scrawny arms and legs, clear from the lack of a normal nutrition diet.
"Kenny, Matt, wait up! Don't leave me behind." the boy shouted at the other two boys ahead of him, but all he got was laughter in response.
"Morgan, we always tell you, don't follow us! You can't even keep up! Hahaha," One boy chides back at Morgan.
"Come on, Matt. Let's go to the arcade again!" The boy, Kenny, says.
"Alright! We almost beat that alien game last time, I bet we can do it this time." Matt replied with excitement.
The two boys Matt and Kenny sped into a run, purposefully leaving the scrawny boy Morgan behind. Morgan couldn't keep up with them and eventually lost them after they rounded a corner. He stopped running and panted, with his arms on his legs. He had to sit, due to his shaking legs.
"Why do you guys always forget about me?!" Morgan cried.
He had always been a weak boy since he was born. When his quirk awakened at the age of 4, he had hoped this would change, but it didn't. Thankfully, he wasn't quirkless, but his quirk was so weak he could basically be considered quirkless. His quirk was [Figurine Make], he could make small figurines from his hands of anything he had seen before. The figurines were plastic and didn't have any extraordinary qualities.
With his naturally weak body and weak quirk, his dream of being a strong hero like most other boys his age, seemed impossible. Most kids didn't want to be friends with him and instances of what had just happened with the boys Matt and Kenny, were common for him.
As tears fell from Morgan's eyes, he looked through his blurry vision spotting a gleam of a coin, hidden in a flowerpot. He wiped his eyes and curiously picked up the coin from inside the flower pot. It was a silver-blue coin with a beautiful picture of the night sky, moving on the back and the smiling face of Genie on the front of it. He blinked his eyes in confusion because he saw Genie's face on the coin wink at him before the coin disappeared into blue smoke.
"Well well well~, aren't you a lucky guy!" A blue Genie appeared in the place where Morgan had been looking at the coin earlier.
"Ah!" Morgan stumbled back and fell.
"Well, don't just lay there all confused. Introduce yourself, young lad!" Genie smiled and started shaking the boy's hand vigorously.
"Ah-um I- Morgan" Morgan stuttered out in confusion and slight fear.
"I am the one and the only: Genie!! You found my token, so I will grant you one wish. But there are some rules: No bringing back the dead, time travel stuff, or interfering with free will. And I have the right to refuse at any time if I don't like your wish." Genie explained while taking out a quill and scroll, marking it like he was going through a list.
"A wish?" Morgan's eyes slowly filtered away the fear of the initial encounter, watching Genie creating the scroll and quill and scribbling in the air.
"Yes, did you ever have a wish? A dream?! Hope for the impossible?!!" Genie explained while grandly presenting his hand in the air, creating sparkles and stars with a wave of his hand.
Morgan's eyes started to sparkle with excitement.
"Oh! Oh! I know Mr. Genie! I wish to be a hero! I want to be just like All Might or Stars and Stripes!" Morgan laughed with excitement as he looked pleadingly at Genie.
"So you want to be a hero, do you kid?" Genie raised his eyebrow so far, it floated off his face and above his head. But he grabbed it before it floated away, placing it back on his head.
Morgan nodded his head like a chicken pecking rice.
"Ahem~" Genie cleared his throat, some trumpets blared in the background from his clones.
(AN: Incoming Genie musical number)
(Verse 1)- (Genie jumps around from person to person, being a nuisance )
Well, gather round and lend an ear
I've got a tale to share, my dear
About a lad named Morgan, you see
A dreamer with a heart so free
He longed for something grand and true
To prove that heroes come in blue
He found that coin, oh, what a sight
And now I'm here to grant his might
(Chorus) - (Genie is on a stage truck, in the center of the streets, doing a flash mob style dance with hundreds of clones of himself)
Oh, Morgan, oh, Morgan, let your spirit soar
Wish upon a star, let your dreams explore
With a heart of gold, and a wish to be
The hero you were always meant to see
(Verse 2)- (Genie pulls Morgan onto the sage, giving him wings, making his body look like a body builder, and then returning him to normal.)
He wished to fly up high and proud
To save the day, to make us proud
With super strength and powers grand
A hero's journey, hand in hand
Through darkened skies and distant lands
Morgan soared above, with helping hands
With every step, he proved his worth
A hero's tale, a story's birth
(Chorus) - (Genie is on a stage truck, in the center of the streets, doing a flash mob style dance with hundreds of clones of himself again)
Oh, Morgan, oh, Morgan, let your spirit soar
Wish upon a star, let your dreams explore
With a heart of gold, and a wish to be
The hero you were always meant to see
(Bridge) - (Genie appears giving one on one advice to Morgan- with a story book, flipping from pictures in each book, from a caped superman to a beating heart.)
Now, Morgan, my boy, remember well
The hero lies within your spell
It's not the cape or powers bright
It's kindness that will win the fight
So reach out, lend a helping hand
In every corner of this land
For heroes, my dear boy, you see
Are those who choose to set hearts free
(Chorus) - (Genie is on a stage truck, but now there are an abnormal amount of fireworks shooting off around him, a metal guitar solo clone is also providing a background chord)
Oh, Morgan, oh, Morgan, let your spirit soar
Wish upon a star, let your dreams explore
With a heart of gold, and a wish to be
The hero you were always meant to see
(Outro)- (Genie appears to be giving Morgan a gold medal, before turning everything back to normal, and poofing away.)
Now, Morgan, my boy, your journey's begun
A hero's tale that's second to none
Believe in yourself, let your light shine through
You know it's time; for others to know the hero in you.
As the musical number ends, Morgan was left on the street in the same as he had before, but he no longer looked skinny. He now looked like a healthy young boy. The other pedestrians who had just watched the performance, were on their phones posting the entire thing on their social media.
Morgan could feel it, his quirk had evolved. He didn't know what Genie had done to his quirk, but perhaps now, he could be a hero! He laughed childishly, running happily back home. It felt like Christmas Eve and he couldn't wait to open his presents.
