Chapter 25- A Good Day

As I get close to her, I look at the Dragon who was with his mouth open and his throat starting to glow and it seems that he would soon launch a fireball, I throw myself as I put the shield up to defend our bodies now together on the floor.

When I look up I see that Gronckle is no longer paying attention to us and I finally look at Ruffnut who was lying on the ground with me on top of her, she was without the helmet that probably fell off from the fall now, her eyes were so close to the mine and her cheeks were flushed, she looked beautiful and those lips were perfect and so kissable looking.

And I finally realized what situation I'm in, I'm on top of Ruffnut?!? Sh*t. I quickly get up as I help her up with me.

"I'm sorry about that, I was just trying to help."

I quickly apologized to her, I don't want her to think I'm a pervert or a freeloader, not that I'm not a pervert or a freeloader, but I only do something if the person with me accepts and is willing.

After a delicious meal, Zagreus heads out to the hidden valley of Raven's Cliff, in order to train his powers without such a big risk of anyone seeing him.

Upon arriving in the Valley, Zagreus sees Alduin catching fish in the lake and talks to him. (For those who don't remember, Alduin is the new name of Fury of the Night, in a parallel world he was known as Toothless.)

"Yo Alduin, I see you're having lunch too."

The Dragon doesn't say anything and just nods his head before going back to eating.

"Okay, you didn't see it bothering you, I'm going to my corner and you stay there in yours!"

Zagreus didn't want to talk too much and the fact that his friend didn't either was good for him, the Demigod was eager to test his powers that he had just gained.

The demigod son of Hades soon pulls out a Paper of Chi in order to release his Dragon part, writing on the Paper and quickly tossing it into the air for the effect to be achieved, when the glowing letters literally meaning 'Release the Draconic Parts' have passed through his body, Zagreus finally returned to the self he was used to.

"How nice to have my power back, I was even missing my horns."

Zagreus says happily and ends up not realizing that he caught the attention of his friend Alduin who was in the middle of his meal.

But now with everything prepared, he sits on a big rock and tries to find the connection he had when he transformed into the Spirit of Vengeance form, he concentrates and soon finds the warm sensation he felt and soon after the flames began to run through his body.

A skeleton with big horns shrouded in Orange Flames was back, and Zagreus was like a child with a new toy, he tested the Skills that this new CHEAT gave him, since [Size Manipulation] which he reached almost 32 feet and this seemed to be his limit, [Perception of Sin], [Glance of Penance] and [Reanimation of Sin] were all self-explanatory and there was no way to test in this place, so what you have left to test is the [Infernal Current].

When Zagreus thinks of invoking the Chain, it responds to his call as if it were part of it, and now in his hands was a silver and burning Chain 5 feet long, it tests its weight, its strength and the result is the ground completely broken and burned from where the Chain was struck.

But the demigod has an idea and ends up remembering an ability of the Spirit of Vengeance that merged with an ability of his own, [Infernal Black Flame Manipulation], he concentrates (he would have closed his eyes, but, well, he's a skull.) and the Flames that covered him are devoured by black flames that seemed to absorb the light, his skeleton gains a touch of crimson being around these flames and he feels his power increase even more.

And at this point, Alduin doesn't even care about Zagreus anymore, all that was normal for him at the time, and he quickly goes back to eating.

And meanwhile Zagreus reveled in the power he was feeling, and after a while, he decides it's time to test the other parts of the power he's gained, apart from training the powers he already had.

He calms down and starts to think.

'This power is strong, I'm becoming strong, but I can't become arrogant because of that, there's always one mountain above another.'

He takes a deep breath and goes back to his previous task, testing his powers, and thought that the CHEAT-derived secondary Ability, The [Sacred Energy Manipulation], would be like invoking his electrical powers and apparently he was right because at this point in his right hand was a ball of Holy Light.

He tries to manipulate the energy to form something or a weapon, but everything disintegrated and returned to nothing, it seems he has to train more.

And finally, the Ability he most wanted to test, the [Angelic Wings], and thinking about them and using the [Sacred Energy Manipulation] on his back, two big White Wings come out of his back and a pure and holy aura surrounds him, he also uses his Flames of Life and now in the midst of it all, Blue Flames encircled his fists and the tips of his wings.

And Alduin, who thought he had seen everything about Zagreus, is shocked to see the wings of the Demigod.

'How is this possible? Isn't he a Dragon?! Why does he have bird wings?!'

And it is with great joy that Zagreus tries to flap his wings and finally fly, only to be thrown up and fall like shit to the ground. But what was to be expected, was it a muscle he had never trained and wanted to use it that easy? This is impossible.

"Argh, I thought I could finally fly! That sucks man."

"And about these Flames, the weird thing about them is that they don't give off heat, only if I wanted I could make them as hot as Black Flames, but it's good that I have another way to heal."

Giving up on the idea of ​​flying now, Zagreus starts to think about trying to spread his draconic wings but he had no skills about it for the system to assist him, and said they would open in due course, so he was in no hurry.

And after a few hours of training in his martial arts so that he wouldn't rust in use, he used the Jade Blades and the Sword of Heroes to keep his skill level at auto default.

He looks at the Jade Blades and recalls his fight with Kai, how he almost lost everything, and the rewards he got from it: The Jade Blades, Kai's Medallion. And what would be etched on his body for life, the scar on his chest where Kai had driven one of the Blades to the hilt.

The Demigod sighs and continues to test his powers and getting to the part of his Simidian skills, and after doing [Shadow Journey] he realized that besides the ease he could perform the Skill, he got to the place faster and expending less energy than normal.

'Apparently it's the world that influences my powers, even though I have the System I'm still affected by the rules of the world, and here where people believe in Gods, my powers are freer and stronger. I imagine that when I return to my original world, my powers will be even stronger and unrestricted, or not.'

And as he thinks about it, Zagreus remembers a skill he'd like to try but couldn't in the world before, a manic smile adorns his face as he thinks about it, and his Dragon friend standing next to him looks scared of what he'd do next.

It was late afternoon, the sun was setting and there was no sign of any clouds in the sky, Zagreys raises his hand to the sky and puts all of his focus and energy into the Skill [Descendant of Jupiter] and at this very moment, Black clouds began to obey his call and rumble in the sky and when the sky is finally completely covered with clouds, Zagreus smiles to Alduin's greater despair and says in a hoarse voice.

"Disappear with the Roar of Thunder, KIRIN."

And just as Zagreus lowers his hand in a sign of fall, a gigantic Lightning crashes from the sky, and shakes the earth.

In Berk Village, people feared that the sudden storm by the gigantic lightning bolt was a sign of the wrath of the Gods.

Zagreus falls back and remains seated and panting and a heavy rain starts to fall.

"Well, it wasn't as strong as I wanted, but for the first time it's fine."

"What did you think, Alduin?"

And the Dragon just stares at him irritably and with a look that says: this is ridiculous, you are ridiculous, your family is ridiculous.

The Dragon opens his mouth as if to speak and it's as if he says: bla bla bla, and goes towards a cave to protect himself from the rain, and heats it with the plasma he had.

"You could at least say goodbye, stupid lizard."

And in response he receives a plasma shot in his direction which he dodges.

Zagreus snorts mockingly and decides he'd better get back to Berk before they get worried about him. Although his abilities hadn't leveled up, Zagreus had become more and more familiar with the use of his abilities and powers, so I could say today was very productive.

Zagreus was climbing the stairs towards the refectory, the storm he had invoked was getting stronger, raindrops were falling on his face along with strong winds and thunder could be seen and heard over the horizon.

He arrives and opens the large cafeteria door and walks in completely soaked, his hair was growing longer and covering his face and he had to run his fingers through his hair back to get a pallet, and apparently a certain blonde in a blue suit had noticed. his arrival due to the long stares on his face and especially his body that stood out due to wet clothes sticking to his body.

Gobber seemed to be giving something akin to a talk about the hits and misses of today's practice, and as he finished talking about Hiccup who was alone at another table and how he shouldn't even have shown up which resulted in Ruffnut defending him and saying he saved her and how he's a real Viking and Gobber agreed in his own way.

The Blacksmith of Berk continues his talk and after a few seconds' pause after saying this, he continues to say.

"Okay, what were Astrid's mistakes today?"

And using Gobber's question as a motivation to shift her own attention, Astrid talks about her acting in today's fight and what she thinks she went wrong.

Zagreus notices this detail and mocks Snotlout in his mind.

While Snotlout feels annoyed at being ignored and even angrier to see him sit with Astrid and the worst part is the blush visible on his face due to their proximity.

But he doesn't want problems beyond the ones he's already arranged, the strength shown by Zagreus today was too much to even think about facing him.

Said Gobber and just as he finished speaking, a Thunder crashed to the ground causing a loud sound but not as big and strong as what Zagreus caused.

Astrid takes the book and asks Zagreus.

Astrid said without expression on her face, but Zagreus since he has experience with expressionless girls knows what to do.

And when he finished speaking, Zagreus was in shock, he gets up and looks at Tigress with wide eyes.

Zagreus couldn't lie and say he never thought of having a harem, but he wouldn't do it at the expense of his relationship with Tigress.

And at this moment Tigress grabs the Donger of Zagreus while giving a scary smile.

"Yeah, I'll never change and I hope you stay that way and remember, I'm the first wife, is that clear?"

And the conversation came to an end and the couple decided to do one more round before it was time for Zagreus to go.

A nostalgic smile graces Zagreus' face as he remembers her, and he finally answers the anxious Astrid's question.

Even Astrid didn't like her much when it came to her beauty and femininity, she liked it when Zagreus called her pretty and respected her strength.

And so the two stayed together until late at night, reading and playing and even flirting with each other, even though Astrid was…well, herself. She enjoyed the moments when she flirted lightly with Zagreus.

But even though the atmosphere was so comfortable between the two, there was early morning practice, so sometime after all this flirting and fun, the two went to their respective homes to get their breaks.

I hope you're okay on this beautiful Sunday afternoon, I took so long to post due to my computer that it decided to die, yes that's sad.

But now a serious matter about the book, I've been thinking and realized due to some comments that Hiccup is better suited to Changewing than Skrill, but now the question is, who will be Ruffnut's Dragon? I'll do the following, for now Ruffnut and Tuffnut will have the same Dragon they have in Cannon, but Ruffnut or Tuffnut will split in the sense that one of them has a Dragon for themselves, so until then you can give me ideas about who it could be the Dragon Tuffnut or Ruffnut would catch.
