Chapter 06- The Dragon Scroll

1 week later.

After all that week of fighting bad guys and saving innocents.

The Furious Five and Zagreus are awaiting their Master who called them here in the training hall.

In this past week a lot has happened, Zagreus and Tigress have gotten closer and closer and now they can be considered good friends, he also joined the other Furious Four, even developing special techniques between them.

And moreover the Status of Zagreus gave a good improvement.

Zagreus used the Skill [Wise's Eye] a lot, as he really wanted to see the superficial emotions and thoughts of the people around him. And that's why he got so close to Tigress, since she's the quieter type so far, it helped him a lot to know what to do and how to do it at the right times.

But looking at his now-discovered last name, coming from his mother Alice Di Leoni.

"Master, I already imagined that I would have to face strong threats, and so far they have been bandits with no chance against a Kung-Fu Master, plus six of them, so I see this battle as a way to prove myself as the True Dragon Warrior ." With unshakable determination, Zagreus responds to his Master.

The frightened Furious Five raise their courage in the face of such willpower shown by Zagreu, that even having become close to them, he has just arrived and already demonstrates more courage than they do in the face of such danger.

But one person among the Furious Five is still afraid, not for her, but for her unconfessed or even unrealized love.

Tigress is feeling scared, scared that the joy she has been having for Zagreu's company was slowly taking hold of her heart without her realizing it, and now knowing that Zagreus will have to fight this demon in the skin of a man, she is fearing for your life.

' I'd rather die than see Zagreus die in front of me, for the sake of the Valley and China, the Dragon Warrior must live'

Tigress who still doesn't know her feelings, gives the excuse that it's for the good of China, when in fact it's for the good of herself, who doesn't know how to deal with such strong feelings.

Tigress remembers an important detail and questions it.

"But and Master Oogway will stop him, he's done it before, he can do it again."

"Oogway can't...not anymore." Shifu comments as he remembers the loss of his old friend.

The Furious Five are in shock for the second time that day, Oogway, one of the legendary Masters left in this world, was gone.

Zagreus feels a little sad for his Master, he only saw them on a TV screen, so he treated them as characters, but after this week of fighting and training, he started to care about them all, like his family.

But Tigress doesn't give up trying to stop the fight between Zagreus and Tai Lung and says.

"Master, let us stop Tai Lung, that's what you trained us for!"

"No, it's not your destiny to defeat Tai Lung, it's his." Answers the event Master points to our protagonist.

Shifu after replying to Tigress soon completes the message he wanted to say.

"Me and Zagreus will be doing a retreat for some time to improve his Kung-Fu." Shifu says and pauses before continuing.

"You Five stayed here in the Valley of Peace, to keep people safe, if Tai Lung comes back earlier than expected, Crane let me know." Orders Shifu.

"Yes, Master" The Furious Five respond to their Master's order.

Shifu and Zagreus soon leave to prepare for the trip.

Break Line

After facing endless mountains, a blazing sun, climbs and descents again and again. The Master and Disciple pair reach the top of a mountain covered in mist.

Shifu only stares at the place when memories of his past attack him, and he tells a silent but anxious Zagreus.

"This is the Lake of Sacred Tears, this is where Oogway unravels the mysteries of harmony and focus, this is the Cradle of Kung-Fu." Shifu explains to Zagreus that he seems to be looking at the place, when in fact he is looking at the blue screen that appeared as soon as he stepped on it.

Zagreus now understands how Po in the film manages to evolve so much in less than a week, in this place, someone with education and a little talent can become a Master.

It goes without saying that Zagreus has the maximum talent due to Cheat [The Strongest Disciple], in this place Zagreus feels like a tiger that has gained wings or in his case a Dragon. (Author's Note: Yes I just used a Chinese saying, I've been reading a lot about cultivation and it sticks in my mind.)

"Here in this place we are going to train your basics to become a Master, you already have the experience of fighting using the techniques of your teammates, but here we will take it to the limit." Shifu says with a sadistic smile on his face. "I realized that I can't teach you like I did with the Five. The training that took place in these 5 days was what could be described with just one word INFERNAL.

Training day and night, being woken up with loud sounds and attacked shortly thereafter, the only prize that was won for training correctly done was a good night's sleep and a decent diet, which was already rare in Shifu's training.

But after all that suffering and learning that's what your Status screen looks like.

(There are 9 levels in total in all Skills, almost all start at Level 1, with exceptions of course, but Level 3 in the System, is basically a Master, only Zagreu lacks experience in fighting other Masters. So no, he doesn't. it's not getting strong that fast, because on top of all these are techniques are not super powers.)

Zagreus had already evolved to such a Level that Shifu could no longer face Zagreus face to face due to his strength which was already great but due to training, he rose to other levels, only through his great experience in fighting that he could win of Zagreus.

But the Dragon Warrior was not discouraged, for even though he had never won any matches against his Master, he himself knew how strong he was, and he felt strong to defeat Tai Lung.

"You did well Zagreus." Start the conversation with Master Shifu.

Zagreus soon responds while looking at his Master he had approached these 5 days with a smirk.

"Did I do well? I was the best student you ever had Shifu, I know that." Zagreus says with false arrogance.

Shifu already knowing his personality says.

"The greatest mark of a Hero is humility."

"But you did well for a total rookie, Dragon Warrior." He finishes his sentence while hitting Zagreus, and the two smile together, whoever saw them would never think that they were Master and his disciple, but rather two close friends.

Upon arriving at the gate of the Jade Palace, the Five Furious were already waiting there, greeting their Master.

The group heads to the Hall of Heroes, where Shifu would finally give Zagreus the 『Dragon Scroll』.

Shifu calmly walks to collect his Master's staff.

He picks it up and positions himself in front of the lake below the Great Golden Dragon on the roof of which he held the Scroll in his mouth.

Master Shifu turns the stick to the right, and the cherry leaves that are there in the lake follow the same direction, he again turns the stick to the left and the other leaves that were there also fly to the left.

Shifu then directs the leaves towards the Parchment.

The Parchment when coming into contact with a single leaf, falls towards the lake, with which Shifu stopped it with the tip of his staff, he takes the Parchment and walks towards Zagreus.

Everyone looked on in awe at Master Shifu's display of Skill when collecting the Scroll.

"Master, do you really think I'm ready?" Zagreus asks while holding the Scroll.

"Yes, you are ready, Zagreu." Dis Shifu confidently while looking at the Dragon Warrior.

Zagrues then goes into a meditation position, takes a deep breath and opens the Scroll, all the Furious Five and the Master who have been waiting their entire lives for this moment, all look to Zagreus to see what will happen.

Zagreus opens the Scroll and the following message appears.

[Do you want to learn the Dragon Scroll?]

[Y] our [N]

Zagreus wastes no time and clicks on the.

[A soul has been detected inside the Scroll, it wants to test you to allow it to learn the Scroll, if you refuse it cannot learn, the challenge has no danger to the User.]

Zagreus after realizing it wasn't taken by force thanks the System, but despite that he needs the Scroll, so he clicks [Y].

Zagreus' consciousness dims as he is sucked into the testing place on the Scroll.

While from the outside the Dragon Warrior's body begins to glow golden before starting to float while maintaining a meditative stance.

Everyone present is shocked but doesn't think anything is wrong, as they have never seen anything like it.

After more than an hour of waiting, Shifu realizes that it will take longer than expected and empties the Hall of Heroes.

All who were gathered there thought only one thing, ' I'll be back as soon as Zagreu, we need you.'

I've been watching the "How to Train Your Dragon" series, and felt a lot of nostalgia, I already have the whole plan in my mind for the next world where Zagreus is going to be "How to Train Your Dragon 1", but I wanted to know what you think, ahh and after this HTTYD world it would be the PJO one.
