Soon, it was the day of New Year's Eve.
The sky was clear after a night of snow. The weather forecast said it would snow again tonight, right when the year shifted to a new one. Despite that, the snow didn't dampen the entire country's spirit to welcome the New Year.
"Has everything been packed?" Shouko peered inside her sling bag, looking through her belongings. She tossed her phone inside.
"The gifts have been loaded into the car. Our luggage too," answered Kyoya while he put on his winter coat.
"What about Yuuya's bag?" Shouko glanced at her husband. She was afraid if they might forget something even though their home and the old house were in the same city.
"All set, my dear wife. Don't worry about it," Kyoya laughed helplessly.
