OTHER SIDE OF LIFE

In another chember called the kitchen tucked inside the ship, the head of chefs walked his way to the cold room where different meats and perishables were stored. Green about the terrible tragedy on deck, he pulled the cold room door open and entered inside to pick some meats for soup.

Inside the cold room, a variety of meat carcasses hanged up on steel hooks. As a professional, the head chef could easily distinguish between the different types of meat. Carefreely, as he whistled with his mouth, turning one carcass after the other, he managed to find the best choice of meat he needed to prepare a proper soup for tomorrow's dishes.

Suddenly, as he ejected carcass off the hook, a coughing voice startled him. Drastically he made a head turn in the suspected direction. Intrigued and very anxious, on careful movements he walked to find out who exactly was inside such an ice cold room because, never did he expect any.

"Who is that?"

No answer when he asked. The kitchen was the head chef's department, a rear case for any person to enter delicate areas within the Kitchen chembers without his consent. So, It being a rear case, nearly to impossible, the head chef became a little nervous.

His eyes widely opened as he carefully walked in the direction where the sound of a cough was heard.

"Mr Felix!"

Abruptly the head chef landed on the least expected person to be in the cold room. Felix was squatting down timidly next to the cold room entrance.

"Darn, Mr Felix! What the hell are you doing in such a blood clotting place? We all know how dangerous in here is!" He was too concerned.

"When did you come in?"

Question after question but nothing like an answer. Felix was tremendously shivering due to extreme coldness and mental instability. His situation was all confusing to the head chef.

"Don't tell me you miss the winter season already!" He exclaimed jokingly.

Though Felix wasn't intellectually disabled, that's how he seemed. Thoughtfully, the head chef called for some seriousness. "If you still value your health Mr Felix, you need to find a better way to play the games you're playing", on a serious note, without a clear accusation, he cautioned.

Mute, hands crossed so tight with body shivering extensively and skin iced, to the head chef, Felix's conduct was perturbingly aimless. Sensitively, he got Felix's hand and supported him up on his feet.

"Darn..."

To see the young brother to the big boss Franklin Baron in such a condition, it got to his attention that something wasn't actually right with him. Eagerly, he wished to know how, what and why....

"Come on let me get you out of here," kind in the arms, he held on him gently.

With a clean white cap sitting like a crown on top of his head and a pure white overall gown on his body, the head chef gently accompanied Felix outside the cold room upto a warmer section within the kitchen.

He sat him down carefully.

"Look what you've just done to yourself Mr Felix! Whats exactly is going on with you?" Worriedly concerned, the head chef asked Felix, who had began to recover from high shivering.

Felix: "m m my brother Franklin!"

Head Chef: "of course I know you guys play alot. Is it hide and seek this time?!"

Felix: " r right next on my feet I... I saw him dead."

Head Chef: "What? Dead! Alright Mr Felix, I think you need a warm cup of coffee to get yourself right okay!"

The head chef thought Mr Felix had smoked weed this time and not his usual cigarette because he was a good smoker. Since he spends most of his time in the kitchen preparing dishes, he had no single idea about the terrible tragedy on deck. It couldn't even cross his mind to think that something of a sort can actually happen.

From a coffee machine, he quickly steamed a cup of coffee and brought it to Felix who was quietly warming up.

"Look, you're a highly respected man Mr Felix but, today you're not in a good mental health", he found a humble way to make him understand, "with all due respect I would like to say, whatever you've smoked, kindly do not smoke on it again."

Suddenly, with an angry stare, Felix looked at the head chef.

"S Sorry Sir, I didn't mean to offend you...", shadily, the head chef apologized instantly because Felix was his second boss.

Very early the following morning, at twilight, Babara Yen opened her eyes from a long rest. Looking at herself as soon as she got out of sleep, she discovered that on her body was nothing like a cloth cover. Quickly, on a frowned shocked face, she got up on her feet.

Flash images of herself killing Franklin Baron and his heavy bouncers began to play within her head including ruthlessly killing whoever appeared in her sight on deck. The images she had happened to show her in a human body as Babara Yen and not in the vampire bat form.

"Darn!" She cursed her own ruthless act.

Confoundedly, she looked at her body which was very normal with a smooth skin as it had always been and more.

"What the hell is this type of feeling? Too fresh too strong!" Deep inside she wondered.

Worriedly she moved her eyes around the area and luckily on the side she saw a waving country flag at the peak of the ship, near where she was. On a flash speed Babara moved and within a second she had the flag tied well around her body and was already down, standing at the swimming pool side where she had dead bodies around her.

"Oh my goodness!" She smiled amazedly, suprised with the magic in her body that she didn't understand how it came about.

"When did I get to this? No!" Worriedly in denial, happy though, she said, "thats not me!"

Confused with excitement, touching her forehead as if she was feeling some kind of headache, unexpectedly from a distance away on water appeared sharply bright lights of a speed boat which was barely visible in the fog that ran towards the gigantic ultraexpensive ship.

It was an anxious moment as she began to collect all dead bodies in the area using her newly discovered powers.

Babara Yen, powered by her extra ordinary vampire abilities which comprised of extreme energy, flash speed, an adequate visual capability that made it possible for her to see in all kinds of environments, very senstive ears which collected sound from a far distant and advanced alfactory nerves that sniffed strongly beyond those of dogs, managed to clear away all corpses to the tiniest blood stain. In just afew seconds she had cleared the whole area tidy.

Looking at the distance in which the coming boat was, she smiled. It was favorably still far away, but the swimming pool waters were still messy, bloody red and not the initial clean blue colour. Quickly, Babara opened the pool outlets and the water started to drain out into the ocean.

Unfavourably however, the speed at which the water drained out was too slow that she felt disappointed.

"Hell No!"

All along it was a coastguard boat in a distance on the way and here it was clearly seen out of fog.

With angry looks on their faces, secretary Jamila and Babara's bodyguard arrived, accompanied by two coastguardmen. They raised their faces up in view of the tall and huge luxury ultraexpensive ship, FRANKLIN BARON.

On a ledge of the ship, relaxedly stood a young lady who was facing the other side of sunrise. She had her head up straight watching the beautiful yellow sun coming up.

Like an ordinary African woman, Babara Yen gorgeously appeared in a country flag cloth tied around her sexy body when secretary Jamila and the bodyguard set their eyes on her.

"Th Th.. That's Madam Babara standing right there!" In panick, Secretary Jamila shuttered excitedly.

"Why's she dressed like that though?"

"She appears like on vacation at the balcony of a tall building in Paris," the bodyguard smiled on his response.

He was happy to see her boss in a healthy shape too.

Even though her eyes were focused on the rising sun, Babara Yen's ears and mind were attentively dedicated to the surroundings. And due to her advanced sense of hearing, she was able to hear clearly the discussion between secretary Jamila and the bodyguard in quite a long distance they're.

"But she seems fine!" Calmly the coast guard commented according to his own observation.

"Really!"

Secretary Jamila gave a nervous smile. "I can wait to get on that gigantic ship", she gave a nervous glance at the watch on her wrist.

For the case of the bodyguard, even though he was happy to see his boss alive and kicking, ready to meet her like she was fresh out of jail, the only way he was to fully settle his restlessness was after stepping back on the ship and stand right beside her. So, while they closed the gap at a high speed, in a nervous anticipation he twisted his face.

"From behind the ship...," actively the bodyguard directed the coastguards where to pass to be able to mount the ship.

"Only a warm hug can fix a broken bond _ I think am going to give her exactly that to confirm she is perfectly okay", in a small voice, nervously spoke secretary Jamila.

"Hey guys, it is high time you wake up!."

In a room within the kitchen chembers, the head chef woke up and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. Loudly thereafter, he made a wake-up call.

Four more other chefs who were asleep on decker beds in the same room, one after the other stretched their bodies and yawned from deep sleep that early morning when a loud voice from their supervisor reached out to their ears.

Sneaky on tiptoes, the head chef walked out of the bedroom into the kitchen and peeped to see whether Felix was still in a place where he expected him to be. "Oh!" Felix was still seated, asleep in the warm zone where he sat him at night to regain his head.

Back to the room, he drew closer to his team and whispered to them, "Mr. Felix spent the night right in our chembers _ as I speak to you right now, he's snoring right in the kitchen."

"You're kidding us, right!"

"The last time I knew, we don't have any beds in our kitchen!"

"Why when hes got a very fancy executive suite?"

"Of course and multiple better options!"

In wonder, the four sleepy looking chefs were concerned.

"Just like you guys, am green about why he chose to close himself in the cold room last night. He was dead freezing when I saved his stubborn life out of very high negative degrees."

"Is he on drugs or something?"

"Shhh..., better go slow with words. He better not hear you say that because, last night was my first time to face his angry eyes when I made kind of a related statement to yours... I still need to work on this ship," whispered the head chef to fellow chefs.

With strong eagerness, before they had their teeth brushed and bodies showered to refresh for the day, all five chefs routed to the kitchen to look at Felix.

"That's weird!"

"Scary weird", whispers filled the air amongst themselves within the kitchen.

"Did anyone of you see him passing?" Asked the head chef.

"Of course all of us saw him passing here in a hurry last evening."

"But I didn't!" Said the head chef.

"That's when you were in the room resting."

"Yeah, since he usually comes here to check what we have on menu for the day, none of us bothered," in a discussion, the chefs united.

From a distance, seated in the kitchen warm compartment, Felix opened his eyes awake on the chefs' continuous loud whispers. Red-handed, he caught them in a serious small voice conversation.

"Hey you!"

On top of his voice Felix made a strong shouted at them, an indication he had gotten better. Startledly, all eyes on him, the five chefs maintained maximum silence.

"Has any of you been at deck from yesterday evening?"

"No!" Eagerly they replied with one voice.
