Chapter 18

"Well, then," Zenitsu yawned. Everyone then went to bed. Later on Isa suddenly woke up, without knowing why and then sensed it, Inosuke was having a nightmare. Isa then walked to his spot and tapped him on the shoulder which didn't work, so she started stroking his head to see if he would stop twitching which he did. When she stopped Inosuke turned in the bed and was still sleeping and then he suddenly grabbed her and cuddled her when she started to do it again. Realizing she couldn't move she wound up falling asleep after laying there for a while. In the morning Tanjiro and Zenitsu went to Isa's spot and found she wasn't there and then went to Inosuke's spot and just stared in shock and then went to sit in between the spots. Later Inosuke shifted and woke Isa up, Isa turned her head and Inosuke looked at her in astonishment.

"What are you doing here," Inosuke shouted.

"You had a nightmare and I tried to wake you up, but that didn't work, so I stroked your head and you stopped twitching, then you turned and the nightmare came back, so I stroked your head again and you grabbed me," Isa yelled. "It's not my fault, I was trying to comfort you to stop your nightmare, not sleep with you."

"Oh, um," Inosuke replied. Isa then walked to join the others and Inosuke followed. "Sorry."

"It's fine," Isa sighed. "I've never had a relationship like that, it took me by surprise."

"What do you mean?" Zenitsu asked.

"I know you guys heard everything, but I've never really had a sibling or a parent, I've never been close to anyone but my first master," Isa explained. "He was like a father to me, but I know it's not the same."

"That's terrible," Tanjiro replied.

"No family," Isa replied, reading Tanjiro's mind. "Also, do you wa" Isa then sensed something and stopped. Then there was tingling of bells and a cat appeared.

"Oh," Tanjiro chuckled. "You sensed it this time, that's why you stopped."
