Chapter 17

"But…" Zenitsu tried.

"No buts," Isa snapped and then teleported to grab the other pile and set up their spots. Zenitsu watched and realized she was almost as stubborn as Inosuke and that fighting her over something she's set on is not a good idea.

"Guess you were right, Tanjiro, she isn't like a normal girl," Zenitsu sighed.

"I mean, she is the daughter of a demon but Muzan killed him," Tanjiro told Zenitsu.

"He was one of the upper six as well, I don't think she knew what rank though," Isa replied, starting the second bed. By the time Isa finished the first bed it was dark enough for a demon to lurk. When she started walking to the others a demon appeared behind her. "Amaya?" Isa turned around and stared. "Guys don't attack her."

"I didn't know if this will help you but I found your fathers eye, he was the top one, here, see for yourself," Amaya then handed Isa an eyeball. "I've got to go see you around."

"Bye," Isa called as Amaya disappeared. Isa then examined the number and color on the eye, it sure was a deep purple and had the number one written on it.

"What is it?" Tanjiro asked as Isa walked over to them.

"My father was the top Kizuki," Isa replied.

"Isn't it funny Inosuke knows only who his mother is and you know only your father?" Zenitsu said.

"Isn't it funny how no one's laughing about that," Inosuke replied.

"What?" Zenitsu looked at Inosuke with a confused look. "Are you ok?"

"Yes I'm fine, I just thought it would be something Isa would say," Inosuke said.

"And I was going to," Isa laughed. "Lets go to bed you guys, you need rest, and I do too, but you need it more, and if you like my beds better, you can make your own because you watched me do it this time." Isa then walked to her spot.
