The same look of shock that Alex had plastered on his face at the sight of the Flutternoxes bringing more qi pearls to him, wasn't much different from that of the rest of the soldiers that were around the valley.

Those who had held themselves back from wanting a qi pearl or anything worthwhile in this valley, couldn't help but feel their throats get choked by a powerful jealousy that they couldn't understand.

Some who had been trying to get some Flutternoxes to get qi pearls for them felt like pulling their hair out and crying out in anger. Some had begged the Flutternoxes, even finding out that the creatures that they thought to be simple butterflies before, possessed the intelligence to understand them perfectly, they just didn't want to bother with them and their plea.

And yet, there was someone amongst them who was receiving premium treatment from the Flutternoxes, receiving more of the qi pearls that they wanted.
