From the moment the leader of the group Alex was placed in rushed out towards the Lava Scorcher, and the moment Alex dashed forward, not three seconds had gone by.
This was enough time for those behind to compose themselves. They quickly dragged those that were hit by the lava spat by the spiritual beast, away from the area that was affected by the spit of Lava Scorcher.
Once again, Al felt as though Alex was making a rash decision. He was charging ahead towards danger instead of retreating, but he was also aware that Alex wasn't incompetent, though reckless sometimes, not stupid.
Keeping his opinions to himself this time, Al remained silent as Alex charged ahead.
