To Alex, he felt as though he had only blinked a few times and his surroundings had completely changed.

Currently, he was in an underground cave that had some crystals on its walls, providing a soft glow of light that made it quite easy to see in this place.

At the center of this underground cave, was a small lake that also glowed. It also looked as though it had mist coming out of it, as though there was dry ice within the lake.

Alex looked around, wondering what he was doing here, the gigantic serpentine beasts were nowhere to be seen.

"Um… hello!"

Alex's voice echoed out, rebounding off the walls of the underground cave. Even the tranquil state of the surface of the lake was affected by this echo.

"Young friend, just like the old Thieving bastard descendants that had benefited something from you, I too would like to have my descendants benefit from you." The beast's voice wasn't as cold as it was in the garden.
