A TOUR OF THE CITY

As for Alex, he didn't feel much of this when he first stepped into the city, however, now that Camron pointed this out, a little part of his heart pulsed for the people that used to be in Nord. But that feeling was quickly drowned by his rationality.

"They were people that we knew nothing of, don't get sentimental for them. The cultivation world is a brutal world, we all know that. Only the strong have the right to decide how the weak live." Alex mentioned. "They say power changes a man. When you can see the world that the powerful sees, perhaps your ideology would be similar to theirs, no offense." He added.

"But no matter what happens in the future, you will remain a friend of mine, whether you become a madman or not."

Camron and Adrian felt sadder when they heard Alex's words, but they couldn't refute him. They too understood this doctrine, after all, they were in pursuit of power too.
