You better tell me what you mean by......Just tell me why you're here" He said exasperatedly .

Seemed likely I had done my job well and frustrated him well enough.

I mentally gave myself a pat on the back . Nice work Alana , nice work.

"I came here to talk about the designs for the Presidential suites and pitch some of my ideas and ask for your input as my boss " I stated looking at him and trying my best not to laugh at his new look .

"But seeing as you look like that , I'm sorry I can't take you even a bit seriously . I'll be back later when all this has been taken care of" I left the office laughing because the situation was seriously very very funny or let me say tried to leave the office .

"Damn you Mufasa for making me unfocused" I said under my breath as I tried to leave.

"Now young lady , I dare you to take one more step outside this door " He said with a dangerous lining to his tone.

"I'm waiting nena , go on and walk out of this room " He continued .

I was frozen in between the office and the hallway . I was shaken to the core .

Then I began deliberating the two options . If I flipped my hair and banged the door and left , I would lose my job but feel very proud of myself.

And if I closed the door and walked back obediently to my boss . I'll spend the rest of my life making up walkout scenes in my head and I wouldn't lose my job also .

Upon critical thinking I realized the second option was better .

"I dare you to walk out and I'll show you who's boss and let me tell you . I would love every moment of it ". He said with a smirk that made my legs tremble with fear .

I mean who knew what he was capable of.

I closed the door gently and returned with my head down . I realized I had crossed a line with him for he was my boss I mean he was going to give me my paycheck every month .

And I was supposed to know the difference between us . I moved closer to his desk and kept my eyes fixated on my shoes .

Great taste mom ; I wonder how she knew I would love them . Well she was my mom so that explained everything .

" Now that's a good girl . Just like that kitten . You better turn your little self around and get back into this office and put up with whatever I'm looking like " He said with a smirk of victory knowing he had won.

" I want you to get this clear young lady , I'm your boss and you'll give me all the respect I command and deserve . I hope you got that " He said almost shouting.

"I can look like Musafa , a monster , a tree or whatever . But so far as I remain your boss Maximilliano Xander Alejandro Cortez Black , you will put up with me and give me all the respect . Are we clear" He stated and I knew it was the final say .

"it's Mufasa , not Musafa . When you were talking you said Musa....., okay I'll shut up now" My mouth just didn't know when to shut up.

"You don't know when to keep quiet do you?? . Now I want you to shut up and get your things ready and pitch the fucking idea now!!" He said with authority giving me goosebumps all over .

I was still crossing a line .

"I'm sorry sir , I didn't mean to be disrespectful and say all that it just came out I hope you can forgive me, I'll start talking now" I said with my eyes still downcast while turning to the page with my ideas for the Presidential suites.

"You know what , you can leave and come back in some twenty minutes , by then I would have taken care all this , my mane I mean " He said more calm than he was few minutes ago.

"Thank you sir" I said and hurriedly left the office . I was so embarrassed.

On my way out I bumped into a classy and rich looking Lady who I presumed was an investor or maybe a senior worker here .

I wasn't really familiar with any of the workers here except Jaden and maybe Candy and Dior .

"Sorry " I said to her while bending down to pick up my fallen notepad.

"Watch where you're going next time , do you know how much this purse costs , not to talk of the shoes and this dress . It's a limited edition geez" She said as she wiped imaginary dirt from her dress and waiting for me to pick up her purse that had also fallen on impact .

Yayy another asshole to light up my day.

"Erh...excuse you " She said while pointing her slender finger towards the purse like it was the most obvious thing for me to pick it up.

To avoid another drama since I had had enough for the day I picked it up.

And pushed it hard towards her fake breast implants .

I could almost swear I heard them squish and go in .

"Wow looks like someone has to get a reshaping" I laughed and walked away proudly . At least I won my second battle of the day .

"How rude , and for your information these are 23% real " She said towards my retreating back .

Her level of great stupidity made me want to turn and I did and gave her the " Is everything alright up there " look and I turned to continue my walk .

This day was turning out to be way more shitty than I had expected .

I decided to pass by Jaden's office and to check up on him and see how his day was going .

Hopefully he was having a good day ......
