ALANA'S P.O.V

"Mr. Maxi..........wowww" That was all what could come out of my mouth as I was so confused and surprised on my boss' appearance.

I mean what happened . He looked nothing like the handsome , clean shaven guy I had seen just an hour ago or so .

I mean didn't I see him looking all so powerful and handsome just this morning??

Or maybe it was just my mind playing tricks on me . I blinked expecting it to all go away once my eyes were opened but nope , there he was still looking the same as he did when I walked in.

I was wondering , where had all the extra facial and head hair come from . His hands also showed signs of the sudden hair growth .

He was beginning to look very animal like and it looked scary?

"Hi....erh... hey, how ....when ....why" I just muttered out jumbled words because I was shaken to the core .

"Hi...erh....hey what ???" He asked a little grumpily scaring me the more .

"I mean what's on yeah , there how when geez you get me right?" I said pointing towards my face and head to ask him what was going on with his face and hair.

"Oh this , it's nothing" He said with a relaxed face trying to look calm and trying to get me to take him seriously but it was very hard to take him seriously when he was sporting an overly grown and unattractive mane.

I began to laugh at the thought of him having a mane.

"Hold up , you mean to tell me that you standing there looking like a reincarnated remix of Mufasa is nothing???!" I asked beginning to find humour instead of fright in the situation.

"Bruhh you better up your game I mean I just saw you an hour ago and I must say you looked fine and now all of a sudden you have a mane and you're telling me it's nothing , that's one dumb excuse boss" I said still laughing and holding my stomach , he looked very very funny and I just couldn't stop .

"If I find out when the human version of lion king is coming out I'll be sure to pick up audition forms for you , you'll make a great Mufasa damn look at you hun imagine you growling and all" I continued to make jokes about his appearance totally being in the moment and forgetting he was my boss .

"Imagine you on all fours with your natural mane trying to rule other animals wow and what if you were made the older version of simba too singing Hakuna Matata with Pumba and Tim..... Okay I'll shut up now"

I stopped when I realized all the humor was lost on him.

He look outright furious and I wanted to bury myself six feet underground or hide myself in a drawer.

"It's a fucking beard and hair growth cream gone wrong okay that's all nothing much " He said clenching his fists and being the only person in the room those fists could be directed to was so not relaxing .

"And Mufasa , Simba really ?? This is hardly a mane gosh you're so childish" He said

"Wow , easy there with those fists tiger or should I say lion " I joked and laughed again .

He still wasn't getting the humor he looked so pissed off

"And you use hair and beard growth creams woww that explains a lot " I said looking focused on my thoughts .

"Explains what exactly " He queried walking away dangerously from his desk and slightly towards my direction .

"Oh nothing " I said while moving towards his desk where he was moving from .

"I see " he said getting closer and closer till he had me in his seat .

"Yes please , nothing" I said innocently and truthfully because I just said that to rile him up and tadaa it was working .

I got up from the seat and squared up to him or at least tried to since he was way taller than I was .

And there I felt it , there was something .

I had no idea what it was but I felt something being so close to him , I didn't know if it was a good feeling or a bad feeling and I think he felt it too but he decided to ignore it and so did I .

But what could it possibly be?......
