Shortly after loosing her uncle and her home in a tragic fire incident, Hazel Troyanda finds herself facing severe charges in the Kragon kingdom. Before aunt Gretta could answer the question, Hazel had already dropped everything and dashed towards the heart of Drakin where she lived with her uncle.

But the sight she saw made her halt mid-step, both in shock and disbelief. Half of Drakin was in shambles as dark smoke rose in the sky from the raging fire that had burned everything in its way. Homes and businesses and even people were burnt to ashes and the smell of burnt flesh filled the air.

For a moment, Hazel couldn't move a muscle and watched as people tried saving what was left of their belongings while others tried to put out the fire to no avail.

But her shock quickly wore off as she remembered her uncle, and disregarding aunt Gretta's warning shouts behind her, she ran through the fire, her uncle's life the only thing on her mind
