The Lord: Necromancer in the Apocalypse

Shivam, our protagonist, encounters a midnight guest and the next morning his roof is gone and a parcel is left at his doorstep. A parcel with a phone. A phone with a system. A system of the necromancer. Me, a necromancer? This novel is an inspiration and amalgamation of many of my favorite novels on this website. However, I have tried to avoid the regular trend and bring something new to you all guys. To be honest, I am just experimenting with your all taste buds.

Overthinking Savage

Turning back to its face, I see a wide huge grin formed by billions of razor-sharp teeth.

Scary…

The monster is slowly inching closer to me. I used my white shirt's sleeves to wipe off the blood dripping down my forehead.

I need to move away before it reaches out to me.

My head… Where is my weapon?

Ah, I didn't lose it. I need to be calm and find a way to escape. It is painful but I somehow steeled my resolve to survive and stood up.

The monster has no eyes but it is still looking at me. Is it blind or not? I can't say. It also has no ears, just a mouth.

Ah, a hockey stick won't be able to do much in this situation. I need to move away from this thing and silently if possible.

There is a dining table at the center of the hall. From my current position, the monster is on the right of it and I will move to the left.

The monster is still grinning but its eyes are not focused on me but on my former place.

Maybe it is blind for real but how did it see me back then? Did I make a sound? Not that I remember.

What's different now? I can't think of anything. Maybe the rolling onion caught his attention and he saw me as I saw him in the reflection. Then again, he is blind, no, he has no eyes!

Moreover, despite having long arms it could not have grabbed me back then so quickly. So, what threw me? It was something slimy so it could not have been telekinesis. It was really powerful… I have to be careful against it again.

I will sneak out while keeping an eye on the monster.

Paying my full attention to the monster, I accidentally moved a chair and… made a noise.

With terror overtaking my expression, I look back at the monster only to notice it staring at the same place I had been at with slow steps. Maybe it is really blind and deaf.

The more I move away, I notice something strange happening. The grin on its face was now slowly fading away with my every step.

It was as if he could feel my presence fading away. Then a moment came when it completely disappeared.

The monster made a sharp turn of the head as its wide abnormal long grin greeted me again. The body was straight but the head made a kind of 120-degree turn. It was yet again starting right in my eyes with its empty sockets.

However, this time I shuddered but I did not turn away from it.

Here it comes… A tongue-like black lash shot out as it extended its arms but I diverted it away using the hockey stick which instantly splattered into tiny wood fragments leaving behind a broken sharp shaft.

However, instead of moving away, I moved deeper into his range, ignoring the tongue-like lash.

'Leap deeper into them when long arms come,'

I steeled my grip on my newfound sharp shaft and threw my arms forward at the place where his open black malice-filled heart was.

'but be careful of hug coming forward from behind.' that is what my brother said.

I dodged the tongue-lash returning to me and planted the blow.

Krraghhh!!!

It gave out a horrifying shrill cry as it grew violent.

I thought it was over until a floating rib of his shot out to impale me.

Kugh!

I suppressed my scream or more like I couldn't even scream. He had caught me up high by my neck and started to squeeze it tightly.

Thousands of those tongue-like things appeared all of a sudden and lashed out in every direction to destroy everything.

They all returned with the broken articles absorbing into that monstrosity forcing it to rapidly grow in size.

The number of those lashes did not wane but increased as the monster grew in size and soon they started to dig into and break the roof and the floor.

At this moment, I know that I am going to die soon and this monster isn't.

So, I gave it a last push. The monster squealed in pain when I attacked its heart, what will he do if I dig it out?

"I am not going down without a fight!" I screamed as used the shaft to spoon out the heart of the monster with all my strength.

However, it was way too elastic and I had to bite it off to seal the deal, ignoring how disgustingly sinister it tasted.

At this moment, I feel like a savage beast trying hard to resist an apex predator. I bit it further and even tried to pull it in my mouth. The heart finally detached from its chest.

The monster's grip weakened as if it grew lifeless and every tongue-like lash shriveled into ash.

The roof finally collapsed and everything got buried down in the debris.
