No More A Xane

"Alright here goes nothing"Without hesitation Arthur slowly entered the house.The same house he's been living inside and had been getting all sorts of horrible treatment.Right now it was mostly getting to curfew time for him.

One may ask why he had taken long to reach home,the answer was simple.Arthur knew for sure he had been sold off by his twin sister for sure and his so called parents knew by now what had transpired at school.And he also knew for sure they wouldn't let him off the hook that easily.

"Look who finally decided to show up...if it isn't our lovely son"The blonde haired woman voiced out with her arms placed on her hips.Standing Infront of her was her husband who was Arthur's father and beside her was Arella her twin sister.The same old stupid formation they would use when coming to beat.

"Son,where have you been.We were quite worried about you and your health."His father wrapped his arm around his neck and said in a cheerful manner, contrary to what Arthur thought he would do.

"I'm not stupid,they probably heard from her about my second awakening and now they're trying to show love to me....they disgust me"Arthur said internally.

*Pah*

Arthur moved back after slapping his father's arm away.He looked at them with a sad expression and couldnt stop the tears coming from his left eye.

"When you guys found out about my ability you began treating me horribly"The father shocked about what just happened took a step back to listen to him"I thought as my biological parents you would look out for me and reassure me but you guys rather did the opposite and ever since I've been suffering from attacks here and there"

Arthur finally steered himself and wiped his tears away before looking straight at them without an ounce of sadness.Almost as if the sadness had disappeared."Heck you even stopped me from playing with my own sister and turned her against me"

Arthur turned around remembering the slaps and beating he had collected from his father over the years as he slowly approached the door to leave.Honestly the thought of leaving had never crossed his mind but what they showed him today showed how much despicable they were as a family.

He was disgusted to the core.So he decided to do what would be good for him and hence his current decision to leave the house."From now onwards I'm no longer your son,I reject your family name"

"James....do something about that ungrateful brat".Mary, Arthur's mother or to be exact...a stranger Arthur didn't know yelled towards the man who still stood there aloof.

James however couldn't hear her as he stood there completely shocked at what happened.It felt like now that he lost a gem that he had realized just how pathetic he had been.

"If you won't do anything I will"

Mary began walking towards Arthur who still had his back towards the family and stretched out his hand to grab Arthur's shoulder but what happened next took everyone by surprise.

Mary stopped dead in her tracks as blood gushed out from her nose,ears and her mouth, eventually after a 2 seconds non stop of blood flowing out of her holes she fell to the ground.

"Mother!!"Arella screamed out rushing to her mother's aid whiles James still stood there but this time with a faint sad expression on his face,what had he done to the kid all this time.

"How dare you do this to mother, you're nothing more but a trash"She stood up and dashed towards Arthur throwing out punches which Arthur dodged with ease.Unlike Arthur Arella was someone who was skillful and was quite powerful with an ice manipulation as her ability,she had the ultimate control over ice.

He was sure of it that if it was anyone else who fought against her then that person would been surely injured but not Arthur.Even as the fight continued Arthur could sense how the temperature was dropping incredibly.He had to act quickly.

[Flash step activated]

[Blood Manipulation activated]

Right before her eyes she saw Arthur vanish and couldn't pinpoint his location.As she stood there though she felt her consciousness being drained as she fell to the ground.

"All I dreamed of was having a sister that I could share everything with and would do everything with.Heck she was even my own twin and not just a little sister but I guess I was never blessed with good parents to help that come true"

With those last words being said he left the house not turning back to even see the now visible sad expression plastered on his father's face.

Arthur stared at the quest he had received after leaving that wretched house.He didn't know what to think of this since to him at that time he truly meant every word he said and didn't expect to see something like this.

For now though he decided to wait and see if he could find any name since the quest had a duration of 1 month.He gave out a loud sigh and looked towards the sky wondering where he could sleep now.

Ember city although being a city wasn't that large to begin with so he felt maybe he could find a place to stay.Arthur stared at the address Miss Jade gave him and the sighed.Even though Miss Jade was his mentor he still couldn't trust her that simple to tell her everything.But alas he had no choice but to go.

It was already late as it is but Arthur had managed to reach the location."A dojo...never thought she would be the type of person to own a dojo"Arthur thought remembering how she had punched her so bad.

When Arthur tried to open it he soon found out it was locked."She's a Nascent ranked awakened heck even I wouldn't dare approach to do anything".To him he felt it was normal she felt like no one could threaten her existence here in Ember city.

"Do not move a finger"

Arthur immediately froze upon hearing that.All he could feel was the tip of a blade pointed towards the back of his neck
