Going back on track (not the plot obviously)

It was afternoon and there was a car parked in front of the main entrance of the castle, and Alexander stepped out of the car together followed right after by Catherine

"Good thing that the infrastructure innovation and the transit laws were updated before our return"

"That's certainly true"

And as they walked towards the entrance, John was standing there to receive them

"It is good to have you back, sir"

"We're back, did something happen while we weren't here?"

"No, no... No, everything was just all fine and dandy"

"... Alright, spill it out what happened while I was out"

John was incapable of deceiving Alexander, and now that he was asked he had nowhere to run

"... Do you know about the Calamitous ancient dragon of devastation?"

"That one who has been living in the northern mountains for a century or so?"

"Alright, did father went to its lair and angered it?"

"... That certainly must have happened, but that is not the problem here"

Alexander's joke was right on point, so much that it even pained John so much that he couldn't even say yes. And right at that moment, Douglas opened the front door, to meet his parents

"Ah... You two are already back..."

"Yes, we are back. Were you a good boy while we were out?"

"Yes..."

"Good, And who's that woman behind you?"

Haydria was the one accompanying Douglas so that she could meet his parents

"Allow me to introduce myself, I am Haydria, Firstborn of the Dragon empress, first princess of the heavenly dragon empire of darkness, and now the third wife of the crown prince Douglas"

Alexander and Catherine both froze up with a smile on their faces when they heard what HAydria said, then after a moment Alexander managed to utter a few words

"Hm? Ah, that's right, humans aren't familiar with this title of mine... I am Haydria, and you humans most commonly know me as the Calamitous ancient dragon of devastation, and a few days ago, I became the third wife of the crown prince" *touches both of Douglas' shoulders*

"Oh?" <Me and my big mouth, why did I even say that!?>

Alexander now didn't know what to do, but look at John who signaled that he also didn't know what to do with his eyes, but luckily for the two Catherine was there too

*Clap* "I see, so my son accepted you too to be close to him"

"Yes, that is right"

"I see, I see... Then please come with me to sign the necessary documents to officialize the betrothal between you two"

"Of course, please lead the way"

"Sure"

And with that Catherine and Haydria went inside the castle with Catherine leading the way, leaving the two men and a boy there

"That was surprisingly smooth"

"Yeah"

Those wise words were never said to the world

"... Oh yeah, Sophia's birthday is right around the corner, isn't it?"

"Did you prepared a present for her, son?"

And with that, the two and a half men went inside the castle

A few days later, Sophia's birthday

"Easy, we just asked Charlotte-dono and Haydria-dono to let you monopolize Douglas until today"

"I see *Grabs Maria's hands* Thank you very much!"

"You're welcome... Shotacon"

And Sophia tried to slice Maria's neck, but she was able to evade it without breaking a sweat

"Anyway, here's my present for you" *Throws something small inside a well-made package*

"Thank you"

"And what is everyone waiting for, give your present to the lucky one today"

And with Maria's words, everyone, mostly consisting of her battle maids colleagues, and some of the shadow butlers, with the head of both organizations, also participating. After everyone else had gifted Sohpia with presents, Charlotte was the next one

"Here... Though we always argue, it's still nice to have you around"

"Thank you, if only I could say the same of you"

"Hey!"

"I'm kidding, but *Whisper in a serious tone* if you make Douglas-sama cry I'll deal with you myself"

"Y, yesh!"

Then Charlotte gave way for Haydria

"Though we do not know each other well yet, it is nice to get along with a fellow harem member"

"... Thanks"

Sophia didn't know what else to say, since Haydria wasn't gullible as Charlotte, and now it was time for Douglas to present his gift to Sophia

"Ah! Douglas-sama, what did you bring for me?"

"... Your left hand, please..."

"? Sure"

Sophia offered her left hand as Douglas asked her to, and then he put a ring on her ring finger

"There..."

"Huh? Ooohh!... It's really pretty, thank you Douglas-sama"

"Hm *Nods* Now we're matching"

And he showed her that he had the same ring on his left ring finger, making her blush a little

"I see, thank you, but it's a bit embarrassing to wear matching rings, so I'm to remove it a little... Eh?"

Sophia tried to remove the ring, but it didn't move an inch, making her panic a little, until Maria stepped forward

While Charlotte enjoyed seeing Sophia wanting to die out of embarrassment, while Douglas stealthily put a ring on her left ring finger

And she then noticed what he did, and also falling on her fours as she felt the same as Sophia

"You don't need to be stealthy with me, here"

Haydria who had noticed Douglas offered her left hand to him, and he put a ring on her ring finger

"Thank you" *Blushing*

At another place, at a higher dimension

"So what do you think of our boy, Memes?"

"Yes, he's doing great, as expected of us, isn't that right, Dong?"

*Puts his glass of booze down* "Hell yeah, I never thought he would even manage to woo that dragon, Stonks!"

"Me neither, a toast to our great, drunk, and stupid job of creating one hell of a boy!"

" "Aye!" "

"And let's hope that Prez won't find about it"

" "Aye!" "

"And that we to give him one of our goddesses just for the giggles and shit"

" "AYE!!!" "

The three gods made a drunk toast for the results of the drunk job they made 11 years ago, and for their future drunk jobs
