Onyx was raised as a human and unaware of the truth of his identity. He started experiencing bizarre complications when a werewolf approaches him, his mate. CHAPTER 22

　　The dust lifted in the air with the blow of the wind and the hot waves flushed over my face as I tried to peek through the small window while waiting outside for Fiarra.

　　She went inside to talk to the authorities of the pack. That’s what she said. It is hotter here or it's just me experiencing another bout of hot flushes. Whatever, I need to take a bath in cold water.

　　It was still hard to figure out that Fiarra’s brother was a patrolling team member and he denied her entry in the pack. Who made these baseless rules? An alpha? Yeah!

　　I noticed Fiarra coming back from the small room after negotiating with the members. Beside her is her brother, Jacob. His gaze was gloomy and I had this idea that he didn't like me.

　　“Onyx! Sorry I took a longer time than I expected.”

　　“Hi, Onyx!” Jacob forwards a handshake.

　　I returned the favor with a grin but his eyes were scanning me from head to toe, “I thought werewolves from the human world are extinct long ago.” he recalled.
