CHAPTER 23

　　A heavy and dangerous voice scattered in the dining hall. I raised my head to look at the person who just called my mate. He appeared different from his family members but the resemblance was uncanny between him and his eldest son, Jacob!

　　Fiarra’ father and the leader of this pack. An alpha to be called, in respect. I can’t talk my eyes off him. His dark red hair is the symbol of fire within him and the black eyes are the darkness he holds for his enemy.

　　His body’s aura screaming power. I wanted to submit myself under his command but something inside my brain warned me not to. I held my breath and waited for the conversation to come into my direction.

　　“Dad! I missed you!” Fiarra hugged her father.

　　“I missed you too, darling!” and his eyes noticed me standing between his family, “who is this young man?” he asked.

　　Fiarra turned to look at me and replied back to her father, “Dad! He is Onyx, my mate!”
