18 . Holding The Fort Part 5

POV : T-9I

The T-9I was still sending information back to the future . A process that was taking longer than she expected . 

In this state , she could not do much . Most of her operational system was running in accordance to her system so she could not provide much back up to the T-9R .

But to the T-9I , victory was in their favor . The human had zero options in avoiding the upcoming shots from the assault cannon . All they had to do after the human died was wait for back up and finally finish of Sarah Connor . 

The taste of victory was sweet but it was quick to disappear . 

The image the T-9I expected to see after the smoke cleared . The reality that all logic and reason led her to believe was proven wrong .

The human figure she expected to be lying dead on the ground blitz from the smoke cover and was immediately upon T-9R .

The human was holding a pitch black animal hide . A black smoke was emitted by the black hide as the human charged forward . 

His body was fully covered with the crystal membrane from earlier which was cracked in several places . 

It seemed the Black Hide had not completely protected him .

" SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH ."

Three bottles were thrown in quick succession each of them landing in the upper chest area of the T-9R . The T-9I managed to catch a look at the human's eyes and she could instantly tell they were not dealing with someone sane .

The T-9R was put into an even dire state of peril than it already was . The human did not let this opportunity go . 

He was upon the T-9R in a matter of seconds . 

A double barrel shotgun materialized in his hand and he unloaded on it . 

" BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM "

The process was extremely perfect . The structural integrity of the T-9R which was already damaged by the bottled madness , crumbled in the face of the extremely powerful shotgun shells .

The human moved , pushing his body forward and using the T-9R own falling movement to mount it and hold it down . 

The human's arm finally transformed . losing the delicate touch the crystal membrane normally gave , it now looked deformed and monstrous . The crystal membrane was now growing uncontrollably covering the arm in a sort of hard cover .

The arm blurred and easily pierced through the presently fragile hyper alloy armor protecting it . The human touched around in the T-9R and finally held onto something .

He then pulled back violently . In his hands . . . . . . He was holding the Plasma reactor of the T-9R!!! . 

The cooling liquid spurted out from the T-9R as the red glow in it's eyes slowly dimmed and disappeared , , , forever . 

" HA HA ha . . . . ha ha ha ha ha ! " 

The human started laughing . A slow silent laugh that showcased the shear insanity in the man . His head was thrown backwards and his eyes looked glazed . As if he was basking in the very moment . 

For the first time since the confrontation , the T-9I felt something . It felt an emotion rising in her that overwhelmed her very programing . An emotion that completely took over her logical program .

The man seemed to sense this change in her and his eyes turned locked on with her .

" NEXT !! "

The human approached . Normally as if he was going for a normal day walk . His steps were steady , casual but the vibe and aura he gave was purely malevolent .

The T-9I could do nothing but watch . Every other process apart from sending the information to the future had been stopped . 

The human felt like a force of nature as he looked down on her . The T-9R finally understood what she was feeling . An emotion she was not supposed to feel but was somehow being influenced by it

FEAR !!! 

And it was with that knowledge that when she finally managed to send all the information , a piece of information went with it . A warning for all the others who would come for Sarah Connor . 

{ KILL ON SIGHT }

And her vision darkened .

POV : MIKAEL

Mika had sensed the growing emotion from the T-9I . It's budding fear and he was confused . He did not expect Skynet to already start adding the emotional Matrix for this terminators . 

But going by his logic of what he could remember . The T-800 sent to protect John Connor had managed to develop an emotional attachment with him . So was it impossible for the more advanced T-900 . The answer was simple . 

Mika had done the same thing he did to the T-9R . As he held the core for the T-9I in his hands . He felt oddly satisfied . He admired the core in his hands and knew he could achieve a bigger mission success rate with it .

The space rift that had closed after the T-9I finished what it was doing was worrying but still part of his calculations . Now that Skynet most probably knew of him and Sarah Connor being here , things would only get more interesting from here .

Mika understood that the information that the T-9I had sent to the future would worsen his already bad situation but , so what . 

What was the point of worthiness if he did not feel challenged .

Both the two terminators had dropped emerald green crystal keys .A Bounty for his collection . It saddened him a little that the assault cannon was not being considered an item but , the fact that he could make use of it in this random world was enough for him .

Mika did not even need to use it himself . The friendly terminator that was coming to help could make better use of it than him . 

Mika recalled how the black hide had also come from one of this green crystal keys . More specifically from the key of the the night gorilla . The green key had given him the hide and 2000 achievement points . And without the hide , finishing of the T-9R would have taken longer than Mika was comfortable with . 

Mika's body finally relaxed as the heat from the battle visibly steamed from him . His arm returned to normal , loosing the hardening that covered it . He instantly felt the numbness and slight sting it gave of but he did not mind . He would heal soon enough . 

He then quickly collected the bodies of the two terminators and stored them in his space . They would be useful in future battles with all the parts he could salvage from them . Their plasma cores would be especially useful in his endeavors . 

A normal contestant would probably leave them behind , not knowing what to do with them but , he was no normal contestant . His ability as an inventor spoke for itself .

First of all , I would like to apologies for the late chapter release. I normally release at exactly midnight but today stuff happened .

But what I can say is that I went back to reread some of the old chapters and did not like certain things as well as I added certain things.
