The Green Flower squad assistance

As the door creaked, they finally entered the last room. A giant statue holding prayer beads with 2 Mikadzuki were praying at the giant statue.

"My, my, what's this?" Kitsune saw 2 men were praying on the statue, kneeling and bowing. One with yellow hair and one with grey hair.

The Mikadzukis stood up and said, "Foolish idiots, don't you know what we're doing for the sake of this world? Why would you stop us from making the world a better place?"

"Sake? Killing innocent people while also causing a mess to this world? Tut-tut, I don't suppose you call that helping." Kitsune disagreed with his words for doing this world's sake.

"Hoho, you'll see. Every sacrifice that was made will soon be a fine trade. Their life equals this world's freedom. You shall soon see, what will happen in the future. For thousands of years ever since our ancestors tried to rebirth them but fail. And now with the help of these advanced spells, we will rebirth them in this era. Our god, our king, our savior, will soon rise and you'll feel free like a bird, flapping its wings." The man was exaggerating and talked about his beliefs.

"Yeah, I won't let that happen. You may be religious, and that's good. But this was already taking it too far. Start a war, kill people, manipulate people... Do you think we will let you get away with that? One of your friends took my elder brother's life and even his body. Do you think I'll let that happen?!" Kitsune clenched her teeth as her tails burned hotter and brighter.

"Ah, you mean, that blue Vlahadeer? That rotten corpse was a nuisance to us all. Our plans were foiled by the likes of those two, that Hirohito and that Vlahadeer. But now, no matter, they're all dead and so none of those pests will bother us no more. With that being said, why not join us for the sake of this world's freedom? No feudal system, being treated equally, no wars, and more."

"Never"

"Hmph, Why not? There's still room..."

Kitsune flickered instantly in front of the man with her menacing glare. She used her claw-shaped flames and destroyed the whole ground they were standing on after they jumped away.

Her veins popped as she clenched her fist. She took on the appearance of a human fox. She had crimson flame ears and nine flaming tails. She knelt with her claws on the floor, sliding her left foot back and her right knee facing forward. She took her starting position and took off like a fox. Her speed was fast, and they caught a glimpse of her figure as she ran around them.

The Mikadzuki grinned as they could catch up to her. Using his magic, one of the Mikadzuki caused a dust explosion.

The dust may have obscured Kitsune's ability to see and smell her prey, but not her hearing. Even without sniffing him, she could hear him from a long distance away. The first thing she did was close her eyes; her mental image was clear, as she could see everything.

As the Mikadzuki made a noise, she turned her head facing the Mikadzuki. As she landed, she launched herself towards the Mikadzuki. The Mikadzuki was taken off guard, she clawed his face and he backed away.

The claws were hot like burning coal, the yellow-haired Mikadzuki touched his face and looked at his hand after touching it. He let out a lot of blood. He glared at her and so he unbuttoned the upper body of his robe. He took off his cloak as well.

His body glowed yellow as he powered up. His mana was skyrocketing as the air was getting denser. His eyes glowed yellow to the point where his pupils were gone.

His muscles were gradually growing, boosting his strength. He then finally let go and exhaled deeply.

He instantly flickered to her and was about to throw his magic-coated fist. Her eyes followed him with ease, she dodged him and she backed away.

"You see, this is our gift. The gods gave us power so we could kill those who were in our way. You can hide, dodge, escape, but you can't run away from us!" His voice vibrated while he pointed at her.

She smiled and so her flames went brighter. Her tails spiked, and her flames melted the ground as she smiled crazily.

[CRIMSON FLAME MAGIC: CRIMSON FOX]

Her magic made the whole place shake, she then launched right above him and clawed the ground after he avoided her attack. He didn't expect she had this much power after he had thought she was holding back.

Her eyes instantly targeted her prey, glaring at him with a piercing stare. She jumped and made the ground crack. The man engaged his defenses by using his magic. He created a defensive force field to block her attacks. Her claws didn't get to him because of the strong shield he created.

She jumped away and landed on the ground once more. He panted and touched his chest, his chest bled that he didn't successfully dodge her attack.

"CURSE YOU!"

The man beat his chest with his right hand, his body showed a crack on his body. His heart glowed yellow and his body as well.

Stronger than before, he immediately used his trump card against her to win the match, leaving him with no choice but to use a suicidal move.

His speed was above equal to her, he appeared next to her and punched her in the face. She flew far and crashed into the wall. The man flashed to her and launched another strike, however, her flames exploded making him move away.

Her flames roared as she walked slowly, glaring at him whilst the man bravely approached closer. His strength was proved to be one step equal to her, she admitted.

As for Akira and the rest of the warriors, they were busy fighting the second Mikadzuki. He was outnumbered yet still manage to make them struggle. The physical warrior tried to hit him with their blades but failed as he kicked them away. The mage warriors continuously launched their magic attacks but couldn't hit him.

Akira was the same, despite being fast, he swung his scythe over and over but didn't manage to get to him. The man mocked them for being slow, and so he made his move.

He launched forward after he landed on the wall. He was fast and used his flexibility to avoid attacks from mid-air. His speed increased the force of his attack, making his attack could single hit his opponent.

Akira, Volts, Kazoru, and 6 warriors managed to stay up as the others were knocked out cold. Akira panted because of the strike, he healed and launched forward. The man snatched his scythe and he was able to lift it. His moves were flexible as he spun the scythe, making Akira couldn't predict his movements.

The man swung the scythe and hit Akira in the ribs, making him launch away.

"Give me my scythe back, you jerk!" Akira wiped the blood off his face.

"Fool, an enemy won't listen to what you say. What makes you think on the battlefield they would give you prep time or a second chance? And also from what I see, you couldn't predict my moves, have you not experienced fighting a skilled fighter before?"

"Not at all, but there's one person I fought and he was skilled too!" Akira stood up and clenched his fist while he lift his fist to his front.

"Hmph, then let me give you a taste of what it feels like to fight someone like me!"

The man advanced while wielding Akira's scythe. So they fight, with Akira's hand coated with mana.

Kitsune and the Mikadzuki, on the other hand, were panting after fighting for the next five minutes.

"Not bad, woman. You managed to stay alive. You are strong, I give you that. But not strong enough!" He launched towards Kitsune and tried to punch her with his concentrated mana on his fist.

"Heh, took you long enough..." Kitsune giggled.

A sudden attack came from the gate as the reinforcement arrived. A gorgeous green-haired woman, wearing somewhat like nature clothing was the one who attacked him, Kitsune knew because she felt their presence from above the dungeon.

The Green Flower Squad arrived and saved Kitsune's life as well as helped Akira while he was fighting the Mikadzuki.
