Light and energy

Rozori stood up as he was about to face an unknown man with brown-black hair and a tall stature who was helping Kirayashi.

Rozori flew into the sky, launching himself like a bullet. As he was about to hit him, he vanished. Rozori turned around and saw him land on the ground very quickly with a woman that appeared to be on his side. 

The man asked her to carry Kirayashi to a safe place, and then he asked her to leave. She then opened a portal to leave, and the unknown man stayed with Rozori.

Rozori said to him that it was a bad decision to stay and didn't know what he was thinking.

He answered that he wanted to test whether it was his light or his energy that appeared stronger. Rozori was perplexed and assumed what he meant was that his main ability was light. similar to Rozori, whose main ability was energy. 

He finally understood why he was fast and couldn't catch him moving. Rozori and the man had similarities of their own because light could be called energy as well. However, Rozori stated that he might be faster than him. Because Rozori lacked sufficient experience with his own power,

The man introduced himself as "Kiiro Raito." Rozori didn't need to introduce himself because he knew him. Rozori didn't recognize him at all; no records, no data, just knew him for the first time. 

"So, shall we?" Kiiro persuaded him to fight.

Rozori gave a nod and started to attack him first without a warning.

But, as he was about to hit him, Kiiro vanished. As if he was teleporting because of how fast he moved. Kiiro yawned and taunted him, saying he was slow. Rozori generated his energy, making him glow brightly and increasing his speed and strength.

Then again, Kiiro dodged him calmly and smiled while Rozori tried to hit him.

The knee kicked him in the guts, and Rozori coughed. Kiiro then sledgehammered him in the back with both of his hands coated with light. Rozori smashed into the ground so hard that it shattered.

Rozori touched his stomach as he groaned, coughing in blood, and his left hand glowed brightly as he healed himself. Finally relieved, he flew off. Rozori threw his fist and landed a hit. However, his fist went through and he saw a light-like body. Rozori backed away, and Kiiro laughed.

"Hahaha, even funnier, that I'm just a light mage and you're an energy mage. Your magic was supposed to be superior to mine. But unfortunately, you still haven't had any awakening, have you? I stepped up to the next level and became light itself. However, you are unable to because you have not yet attained that level. Not particularly disappointed, as our battle has only begun and I have yet to witness your full might, so I can't hope for the best just yet." Kiiro ridiculed him. Kiiro claimed to have awakened and surpassed his own limits. Rozori admitted that he had never had an awakening.

Rozori then charged his energy and he glowed brightly green. Kiiro charged his entire light magic and glowed brightly yellow.

Volts and Akira witnessed the fight as they were taken aback by their speed. Akira stared in disbelief. Even though he had good reflexes and a keen instinct, he couldn't track any of their movements. 

Faster than an eye could see, they clashed their fists and traded blows with each other. Rozori moved equally with Kiiro, moving from there to here in just milliseconds. 

Rozori's fist landed on Kiiro's face, but he took the blow and kicked him right in the waist. Rozori concentrated lots of energy in his fist, creating a giant blast.

[ENERGY MAGIC: PLASMA CANNON]

Kiiro deflected the blast by moving it to his right. His energy created a large explosion in the air, creating a bright light and the shock wave of the explosion.

[ENERGY MAGIC: CONSECUTIVE BLAST]

Rozori continuously fired an energy bullet like a rail gun. Kiiro's speed was very hard to catch; it was like teleporting from here to there.

"My turn!"

[LIGHT MAGIC: LIGHT DANCE]

Kiiro spun around, creating a light beam and firing it everywhere. Rozori deflected them using his kick and his fist. Kiiro then suddenly appeared behind Rozori and kicked him with a high concentration of mana transmitted to his legs. He aimed directly at Rozori's head. However, his leg passed through him like he was kicking the air.

[ENERGY MAGIC: HOLO-DOUBLE]

After Kiiro unleashed his light dance, Rozori created his double since he knew it was a diversion.

Rozori was above him, and he flew to him with his fist coated with energy. Because of their collision, Kiiro's leg clashed with Rozori's fist, causing a loud noise.

"Hmph, you managed to scratch me. Not many of them would hit me because of my being as light with no solid form. Well, an exception to the generals and the higher-ranking moons. Ready for round 2?" Kiiro was thrilled because of their fights. He grinned and wiped the blood off his face after Rozori's punch hit him.

Rozori chuckled, and so they moved very fast.

As they moved, they created something similar to a constellation and created a shockwave as they clashed.

Finally, in the last clash, after 3 minutes, they stopped. Kiiro complimented Rozori, "Not bad." They both panted, and so Kiiro told him that he was not what he was after. He pointed at Akira, hinting to him that Akira was his target. 

Rozori blocked his view of Akira and said, "I won't let you!" Rozori glared.

"Hmm... I wonder... why was Savanth interested in him. I'm not quite sure how to relate his type of hype about him but... with him being a nuisance it will be a problem for the group. A small threat should be deemed serious." Kiiro had chatted with Savanth before and knew that he was interested in a mere child. But he didn't care. He then went after Akira over Rozori. He blitzed right through him at an incredibly fast speed. 

Rozori was caught off guard and hurriedly went after him. Kiiro had already gotten near Akira and Volts when he tried to impale Akira with his fist. But then he was suddenly shocked by the electricity of 50,000 volts. 

Looking back, when Akira was dragged by Volts, Rozori and Kiiro were focusing on their fights. 

"Volts, I want you to switch us with your electricity," Akira said, asking Volts to make a decoy for them. Volts was perplexed by what he was saying.

"Could you make a decoy?" Akira inquired.

Volts nodded and said, "Yes, why?" He inquired.

Akira had a feeling that Volts might die if he was with him. Because they were after him, not Rozori. He heard that he's more powerful, if not faster, so they need to play smart. Volts said it very well and set a decoy.

[ELECTRICITY MAGIC: DECOY TRAP OF 50,000 VOLTS]

With every mana he had, he created a decoy and dragged him to a safer place.

At the current time, Kiiro was electrocuted by the decoy trap that Volts deployed.

Kiiro wasn't bruised at all and clenched his fist. While gritting his teeth, he complimented, "Smart move." In the blink of an eye, Rozori generated a large energy coating in his fist. He landed a blow and successfully hit him. Launched like a cannon, Kiiro crashed into the ground, creating a giant dust explosion.

Kiiro bled as he stood up, looking at his blood. He smiled while wiping it with his sleeve. 

He then raised his leg as if he was about to strike a devastating move.

[LIGHT MAGIC: NUCLEATUS LIGHT KICK]

His leg, coated with light, shone bright and lighted the dark place around him.

Rozori sensed large mana coming from his right leg.

[ENERGY MAGIC: FORCE FIELD]

Rozori created a force field that could withstand a nuclear explosion because he knew he couldn't dodge his attack due to his being very fast.

Kiiro exhaled and launched himself with a speed that made Rozori lose him because he vanished in an instant. His kick then shattered his force field and kicked his guts. He coughed blood as his stomach was burned by the light.

Rozori was propelled into the air and struck a building's rooftop. Rozori screamed in pain and spat blood as his energy armor dissipated. With his final kick, Kiiro attempted to kill him. However, it was unfortunate for him that the boss called.

"Leave now! A general is coming your way!" He was told to leave by the boss over the phone.

Kiiro was disappointed and erased his light magic from his leg. 

Kiiro then said goodbye and swore that he would kill him the next time they met.

Kiiro fled quickly, like a comet, and escaped, leaving Rozori to victor and survived.

Rozori puked blood and knelt down and attempted to cure his wounds, but it was futile because his wounds were deep and he had lost a lot of mana. Sazoru intervened on their behalf and requested a healer to attend to them.

Volts lifted Akira on his shoulders and walked. 

Rozori was healed soon after they were back, how unfortunately the pain persisted, immobilizing his movements for a moment.

Rozori struggled to get to his feet while having stomach agony because the harm was irreparable. After that, they covered him with a bandage. Right after they placed the bandages on him, Rozori commanded the healer to heal Akira and Volts. Volts turned them down and assured Rozori that he was alright because Akira had healed him. Akira slept on his shoulder since he was so worn out and was relieved that it was finished.

Rozori nodded and ordered them to go back to the headquarters. Rozori couldn't go with them since he needed to help the evacuators after their fight.

"Thank you... Rozori." Volts thanked him unexpectedly which made Rozori silent in shock.

"(Woah, I've never heard him say that. Was it something I did?)" Rozori was shocked and thought he had misheard him.

Volts went back to the headquarters with Akira and placed him on his bed in Akira's room. As Akira was peacefully asleep, Volts sat next to him.

("Don't deserve kindness? Don't deserve crap! You've already deserved it, damn it!")

Volts remembered Akira's words to him and they meant very strong to him.

"I guess I was a fool... You were right, for all this time I have never accepted people's or my family's kindness, whether I deserve it or not. Being grateful is what I can do to not waste them. Thank you, Akira." For the first time, he spoke his name and thanked him for giving his word, and cleared his thought.

Volts left the room while Akira was recovering his strength. He couldn't recover his stamina and mana so he rested.

[3 hours later.]

Akira woke up at night and saw Rozori leaning near his door. Akira inquired where was Volts, Rozori answered he was resting in his room.

Akira sighed in relief and was jumped by the pain in his body.

"Don't move your body, you may have the ability to heal yourself infinitely but you couldn't erase the pain. And also, thank you... For what you did for Volts." Rozori smiled.

Akira smiled and said, "You're welcome!"

"Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, someone wanted to visit you..." Rozori informed Akira.

"Who?"

"She's the vice-captain of this squad and she wanted to nurse you..." Rozori informed.

"I don't need a nurse..." Akira rejected her offer.

"Well, not my fault, she keeps insisting on it and so I agreed..." Rozori gave up as she forced him to let her nurse Akira.

"Wait a minute, don't tell me she's..." Akira's face turned pale.

"Her name is lady Kitsune, oddly enough, she likes you too. Yeah, not really odd actually." Right as he guessed it right, sweats started to run down his face, knowing he was doomed to her presence.

Kitsune opened the door and wore a seductive skimpy nurse outfit, making Akira startled and Rozori shocked.

"Lady Kitsune, don't you think that's too much revealing, that you're wearing?" Rozori told her that her outfit was a bit vulgar. Not only did he know she was a very vulgar woman, but she also had a thing for youngsters, reminding him that it was useless to ask her that question.

Her nurse outfit had lots of unbuttoned places, either she did it purposely or it was her breast that made the buttons loose. It was rather tight from how it looked since Kitsune's body was voluptuous. Her cleavage was also too noticably big.

"Oh my, don't sweat about it. This is how I dressed anyway." Kitsune lied, but it was her being honest that she frequently dressed vulgarly, despite the fact that her older brother was too tired to restrain her. Rozori was feeling tired too, so restricting her was kind of a waste of energy. Rozori yawned and waved goodbye and went to his room, leaving Akira alone with her.

"ROZORI, WAIT... DON'T LEAVE ME HERE WITH HER. ROZORI!" Akira shouted as he used his pillow as a shield.

"My... Now that we are alone, we should have some fun, shall we? It won't hurt, I promise." She began displaying her tongue as her eyes began to gleam in the dark, as though she had spotted her victim. Her eyes and mouth began to reflect her lascivious acts. Even her entire body started to let out erotic steam. Supposedly, she was referring to smooches, spooning, cuddling, or even to the next level. Akira moved away and paused until he was close to his window just as she started to come closer and closer.

"NOOOOOOO!"

Within seconds, Akira had to jump off the building and left his room by smashing the window to escape. And that night, Akira couldn't sleep at all whilst he hid.
